Rainforest Adventures

Located very close to the sea, our eco-adventure park opens its doors for an incomparable experience: the 5 in 1 Extreme tour! A perfect combination of all the activities you can find in our private reserve. Start this amazing journey by flying over the treetops on our cable car tour while learning all about the nature around you, then you will soar into the clouds and fly over the treetops, immersing yourself in nature and its secrets, experiencing first hand because Costa Rica is the best destination in the world for adventure and eco-tourism. With 10 cables, 15 platforms and an incredible view of the ocean, explore the jungle through nature trails until you reach our high ropes circuit in the middle of the forest. Overcome the highest level of challenges with this rope circuit at 23 meters high. Visualize the waterfall at your feet as you weave a strategy, and propel your will into the uncertainty of the heights. Have fun in this first challenge, where you will have to find stability while you walk on a bridge made of steel cables. Then take a breather as you cross the log that will take you to your next adventure: the Tightrope. But calm down! It is not the most difficult part. Next, you will come across a very particular bridge: this will force you to carefully calculate your next steps to maintain your balance while you cross it. In the end, you will have to solve your descent through a wall with dams and thus, with great relief and pride, you will be able to complete this great adventure in the heights of the forest by following the guide through our return trails.

5.00We did the 5 in 1 Adrenaline Junkie from Jaco with Rainforest Adventure in early January 2020, and it was a major highlight for each of our kids (ages 8, 12, and 14). We started with the aerial tram, where we got a great education of the flora and fauna, saw a ton of butterflies, and learned about the termite mounds. This was followed by the zip lining, which was made easy by our guides. Edgar and Eric were fantastic with all of us, gave us a good prep, and were will us throughout the day. While the zip lines aren't as long as you may find in other places like Monteverde, they were very fun and had the added benefit of not needing to worry about controlling your own braking. The rock climbing was the biggest highlight for all of us. If you have ever done indoor rock climbing (with the handholds in the rocks), this is similar. It definitely wasn't easy, but so much fun rock climbing while having the waterfall streaming across you. After the rock climbing, you go across the hanging bridge, which is similar in type high ropes courses popular in the US. The big difference is that this bridge is longer and more difficult that anything we have ever experienced, which added to the fun! We highly recommend this activity. Additionally, while the photos are more expensive than many other venues, it is still reasonable if you like your pictures.
