Our tour of Waiheke Island with Graeme from Kiwi Connect was a must do for all travelers. My finance and I both agreed this was the highlight of our trip to New Zealand. The beautiful scenery on the tour alone was worth the flight from New York. We visited 3 amazing vineyards: Man-O-War, Poderi Crisci, and Mudbrick. Each was stunning and unique and our meals at Poderi (lunch) and Mudbrick (dinner) were two of the best meals we had on our entire trip. We're so happy we booked this tour, as it allowed us to see much more of the island than we could have on our own or with any other tour. The whole day was well thought out and relaxed, with plenty of time at each stop. Beyond the vineyards themselves, our tour was elevated by Graeme, who was great company and had fascinating facts about our visits/the island. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and he even helped book us a reservation for dinner on the island. Thank you Graeme for an unforgettable day!

We had the best day on our wine tour. Everything was just as advertised- visited 3 great wineries, had a gorgeous lunch and had many opportunities in between to stop at lookouts, beaches and other areas for photo oops. Plus, our guide, JoJo was an absolute delight. I’m so happy we did a private tour and avoided the hassle of being apart of a large group, everything felt customizable to us.

Great little trip around the not often trekked eastern side of the island. The view at the distillery was amazing, and lunch at passage rock was delicious. Jo Jo was super friendly and knowledgeable of the island.

We had a great experience all around on the Far End of Waiheke Scenic Wine tour. We wanted a tour that showed us more of the island, and this tour did just that. The wineries and views were great, and our guide was friendly and full of local information. Very happy that we selected this tour out of all the choices.

We had the most amazing day with Graeme on Waiheke Island on the Far End Tour. The tour started with a visit to the Stony Batter Tunnels. What a fantastic experience. If you’re visiting the Island, do not miss the opportunity to take in this amazing bit of history. Then it wine tasting and lunch at Man O’ War. Another must with breathtaking views wherever you sit. This was followed by tastings at the Gin distillery and Mudbrick winery. Absolutely amazing scenery at these venues as well. Thank you Graeme for a wonderful experience.

Just a fabulous laid back tour with Grahame who is a thoughtful, talkative and entertaining host but who gave us space for the tastings themselves. So if you like your own company as well as some good conversation in between stops then this is the tour for you. Fabulous island and wonderful vistas throughout. Darryl & Christina

Please do yourself a favour and book this tour! Such an incredible island, both Susan and Graeme were the absolute kindest and made sure we had the best experience possible. So thorough, great conversationalists, even showed us special routes that other guides don’t get to on the island. All of the wines (and gin!) were incredible, the restaurant we had lunch at was delicious, gorgeous views everywhere we went - trust their taste! We truly had the best day on Waiheke with Susan! So grateful we found this tour.

Our Guide, Graham exceeded our expectations and has spoiled us for all future tours. Graham sets the bar high. 5 Star Experience. Graham picked us up at our hotel in a clean, roomy and well-maintained electric van. He speaks clearly, he knows Waiheke well and he is an entertaining storyteller. Our first stop was Casita Miro Winery....don't miss this beautiful Spanish inspired winery. We purchased Casita Miro "MIro" wine & the delicious red chili and paprika infused Red Salt. You have to take some Casita Miro Red Salt home. Next, We drove to Man O' War Bay but the winery was closed. It's a beautiful drive to Man O' War bay...so still worth the beautiful drive to the rural side of Waiheke Island...and Man O' War wines can easily be found on Waiheke and in Auckland. Next stop was Poderi Crisci Winery...another incredible DON'T MISS Italian Inspired Gem. Gorgeous property. We lunched at Poderi Crisci...I was in the mood for just a large green salad...so the Chef kindly went to the kitchen garden to pick fresh the greens needed. Delicious and First-Class experience. We purchased the lovely Poderi Crisci Estate Chardonnay. Try the Arneis wine as well. Our last visit was Batch Winery, the highest elevation winery on Waiheke. We tasted three wines. We returned to our hotel about 4:30ish. The Far End Scenic Wine Tour was a Perfect Day on Waiheke. Big Thanks & Mahalo to guide Graham.
