Very well organised, a lot is packed in the tour but never do you feel it’s to short or to long. We had an a+-lvl guide Gregory who was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and allround great guy. Accommodations, the vehicle we were traveling and all the diners were all great. Also all the other parties on our trip Chameleon worked with super friendly. All in all we had a very good experience and would not doubt going with Chameleon again.

We chose this 6 day tour because it includes all the important places we wanted to see. On the way to Etosha National Park from Windhoek our guide Gregory told us about the history of the region, the diffent tribes and the apartheid regime. At Etosha we went on several game drives and we saw elephants, zebras, lions, springbok, an owl, oryx, giraffe, rhino and much more. It was amazing how Gregory and the other guide, Lazarus, could spot even an owl hidden in a tree while driving around. We could also see animals at the waterhole in Etosha village. At some point in Etosha park we lost electricity and water for a shot time, but that's part of the experience. We visited a himba tribe, went to Swakopmund, Sossusvlei and the dunes, climbed Big Daddy or went straight to the Dead vlei with the dead trees. We were lucky because it was not too crowded. At night we did some stargazing. The last day we went to Solitaire and saw cheetahs. We saw much more, but these were the highlights of this trip. But most importantly our guide Gregory took good care of us. On the way he would tell us about the places, geology and history. The lodges we stayed in were comfortable and the food was really good. If you see Taleni Africa, you know you will be staying at a nice lodge with really good food and friendly people. Expect to be on the road a lot, but the scenery and company was worth it.

Awesome tour! What a great way to see the vastly different landscapes of Namibia! This country has everything! Began in Etosha park on game drives- granted the wildlife viewing maybe not as exceptional as in other countries but great just the same. The sand dunes were wonderfully overpowering, Walvis bay and the skeleton coast also awesome. What made the tour however was our guide Chimunya. He took care of everything and was a great guide. He went beyond the landscapes to explain to us the people and tribes, customs, advances and where Namibia can do better for their people. The visit to the Himba tribe became a constant source of reflection and discussion in the group. He was content to give us some time to draw our own conclusions and gather our thoughts on this incredible experience, then gave us time to talk through our ideas and impressions. Certainly this visit was the highlight, lowlight and the essence of this Namibian tour- and exactly the reason why I travel. The accommodations and meals were EXCEPTIONAL- beautiful places and a wonderful surprise. A very busy 6 days, all early mornings - but the bus rides were always split up by interesting visits which helped. Bus was comfortable but please get rid of the eye level emergency exit signs- they were annoying

Having discussed our wish list for our trip to Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls), Tina, our Chameleon Safaris Representative put together an amazing trip. Everything we wanted to do was included, and in Namibia we had our own guide/driver which meant we had a flexibility that was really special. Gregory went out of his way to create unique and memorable moments, and every day brought something new. Every part of our trip was well organised and we felt really well looked after. We can’t recommend Chameleon highly enough. Than you Tina for creating a trip we will never forget!

Cannot recommend our safari guide, Kennedy highly enough. From the moment we began our journey, it was clear we were in expert hands. Kennedy was knowledgeable, personable, passionate about wildlife and provided an excellent tour of Namibia. Thanks to Kennedy this safari was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you’re planning a safari, do yourself a favor and ask for Kennedy by name. You won’t regret it!

I had a fantastic time on the chameleon Safari! Our host/guide Anton was great, very knowledgeable and reliable and made us some delicious lunches. We got to see so much of Namibia in just six days, and the accommodation was really lovely. It was a trip full of variety, from the wildlife in Etosha to the urban landscape of Swakopmund - and all of it gorgeous. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe. The one thing I would mention is that there is a lot of driving, which I didn’t mind so much, but if you get carsick it might be one to reconsider… or bring your medicine so you don’t miss out! Finally, and I really want to stress this, chameleon have been absolutely amazing in communication and flexibility. Their customer service over the last year has been second to none and I would recommend them to absolutely anybody. Thank you so much for a brilliant tour!

I just finished the Dunes and Wildlife Safari with Chameleon and Anton was our guide (great job, thank you). Overall I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations, food, and balance of activities the tour offered. You definitely spend A LOT of time in the vehicle and the roads are super bumpy but it’s well worth it. I recommend if you have a bad back or get carsick to try and get a seat towards the front of the bus. Thanks also for the people in the booking office for being so responsive and answering all my questions promptly before the tour.

Fabulous 6 Day Trip (Dunes and Wildlife) with Kennedy as our guide (and Lazarus and Matthias our guides in Etosha). The trip was brilliantly organised, covering long distances comfortably with just the right number of well positioned stops. Kennedy drove and guided us so safely and has a clear love and knowledge of his country. The accommodation and food were excellent, even when we had lunch on the way it was great. Namibia is a beautiful country with vast open spaces, and I am so pleased to have been able to experience a small part of it! An amazing trip and experience!

We enjoyed the safari very much. Our guide Tami and driver Michael were brilliant. Not being a camper, I got to grips with everything pretty well, a lot of early starts. My advice would be, pack light, sunscreen, binoculars, hat and good shoes are a must.

I need a vacation from my vacation. It may have been my strict tour guide that affected my view of this experience but this tour was too regimented. The tour guide did nothing to accommodate different preferences. Also, Viator promised a 5% discount if two bookings were made and then failed to deliver.
