I was really looking forward to this safari having done a few others in different countries and my guide Mike (aka Magic Mike!) made all my wishes come true! He knew where to search for the animals and can spot anything from miles away!! I asked to see hyenas in the daytime and he said i have a suprise for you... a den of hyenas including 3 babies! I said i have never seen a cheetah and that is the top animal i want to see, he again says i have a suprise for you... i have no idea how he saw that first cheetah, we drove for about 5 minutes to get to it!! Then he found 3 male cheetahs, one jumped on our spare tyres at the back and we looked at each other directly in the eye! One of the others then ran off to try to hunt! We saw leopards up a tree with a kill, about 40 lions in total (i lost count!) including some trying to hunt, we even saw tree climbing lions up a tree, chilling! There was another tour group with us for the first day in the serengeti and by the time i got back to our lodge, they said every time their guides phone rang and it was Mike, they were super excited waiting to hear what he has found and then come racing over, they loved the magic Mike brought even to their safari!! He found loads of rhino for us in Ngorongoro Crater and rare lions in Lake Manyara, i could talk about this trip for days! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Mike to anyone looking to go on Safari, he can spot and distinguish any animal from such a distance, he has the experience to know where to look, all the passion, patience and problem solving skills you need in your guide and most importantly, he goes above and beyond to make sure his guests are having a great time, he can also change a tyre in 10 mins! He has the best smile and laugh, defintely ask for Magic Mike the legend to take you on safari, you will think you are asking for the impossible and he will make it come true - you will be fighting between yourselves who gets to buy him a thank you cappuccino afterwards! Serengeti, I will be back... pole pole, asante sana, Mike :)

We had an absolutely fantastic safari with our guide Mike. We managed to watch three young cheetahs who were hunting, and the next day a pregnant cheetah ate a young gazelle - that was emotional. We also met a sleeping leopard, rhino, serval, elephants, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, flamingos, buffaloes and countless adorable lion cubs, zebras and water buffaloes, monkeys, etc.. The organization was great; we had everything we needed: food, water and unforgettable experiences. Our guide was an excellent driver and was able to answer every question. Every park is unforgettable, although we liked the Serengeti the most with its wild beauty. We were glad that we could sleep in a tent, thanks to which we did not miss out on the adventure. In camps were also a warm shower, that was suprising for me.

I went as a solo traveler and I had an amazing and safe experience. Our guide was Bakari!! He was absolutely amazing. Love him I was in a group with other solo travelers and we all got along so well. Bakari made sure we were safe and we got to see ALL animals. It was a trip of a life time. 100% recommend. word of advice pay a little more so you get to sleep in a lodge not a tent that’s what I did !!

Our Safari with Avocet was amazing. We had a joining safari. The fist four days we had Mike as our guide. He made it to something really special for us! We saw so many animals most of them so close that you could nearly touch them (what we of course didn't do!!) It was amazing. We really could enjoy the nature and the moments! But he didn't just show us the animals and told us facts about them, he also was so funny and lovely and such a great person! Thank you so much for this great experience and the time we had together! We will miss you! Asante sana rafiki yetu! For the last two days we were with Jonas. He's also a great guide and knows a lot about the animals. He was never in a hurry and stayed calm even when we had some troubles with the car. He fixed it real quick and made us have a unforgettable time.

Our 6 days safari journey with Avocat Tanzania Safaris was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the experience was seamless. Took us to Serengeti National Park, where we were to stunning landscapes and an abundance of wildlife. The was spotting Giraffes zebras Lion an unforgettable moment! The lake itself was a spectacle, its shores lined with thousands of flamingos that painted the scene in hues of pink. We explored the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders. Finally we arrived at Lake Manyara National Park, As we ventured deeper into the park, the diversity of wildlife was astounding. We spotted tree-climbing lions lounging on branches a rare and iconic sight. Thank you, Avocat Tanzania Safaris, for creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Our safari in Tanzania was a truly life-changing experience, and we owe much of that to our incredible guide, Bakari. From the moment we set out, Bakari’s deep knowledge of the wildlife and the environment amazed us. He could spot animals from miles away and always had fascinating facts to share about their behavior and habitats. It wasn’t just about seeing the animals, but truly understanding them. We opted for the low-budget option, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The food was fantastic, always fresh and delicious, and the campsites were comfortable and well-organized. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we felt well taken care of throughout. We’re beyond grateful for this unforgettable adventure and want to give a huge thank you to Bakari for making it all possible. His passion and expertise made all the difference. Highly recommend this safari and guide!

Excellent experience! We were taken care of by Waldon during these few days, a brilliant guide, knowing the wildlife of the different parks like the back of his hand! Despite waking up very early, which was worth it, we came away from this experience with stars in our eyes! The camping experience was exotic but highly recommended, falling asleep hearing elephants nearby is something incredible, just like the sunrise or sunset. A special mention to the cook Tadeus, who accompanied us during these few days and prepared us some great dishes. Thanks again to the entire Avocet team and Waldon, we look forward to seeing you again. Agathe and Raphaël.

We had a realy good time in the different parks with our guides. The weather was quite good and the conditions to see animals perfectly:) we had Agatha on our last day and we had a lot of fun. She is a really open person, with a lot of humor and we instantly felt like a family :) we were singing all the time and it was a great vibe in the car! Many thanks from Rahel

Our 5-day safari in Tanzania was off-the-charts awesome! With our crew of 5 friends from Spain, we hit up Serengeti, Tarangire, Manyara, and Ngorongoro parks. Our guide, Godfrey, was the real MVP. Always watching our backs and with an awesome eye for wildlife. He drove like a boss, and chatting with him in Spanish or English was a breeze. We'd totally hang with him again on our next adventure. Big thanks, Godfrey, for making our safari one for the books, you are the 6th big one!
