Day 1

Chengdu to Wolong to Mount Siguniang (212 km, 4 hrs) | Pandas

Wolong Giant Panda Nature Reserve

Start your adventure at the Wolong Panda Research Center, where you can observe giant pandas in their natural habitat. where you can spend the morning observing the beautiful giant and red pandas. Since pandas are most active for just a few hours each day, it’s essential to wake up early to catch them at their liveliest. The giant panda, a symbol of national pride and one of the world’s most endangered animals, can be seen here amidst extensive conservation efforts. Spend three hours with these amazing creatures, watching them play, munch on bamboo, and climb trees in a setting that closely resembles their natural habitat. Afterwards, heading to Mount Siguniang for an overnight stay.

Day 2

Mount Siguniang to Danba (120 km, 3 hrs) | Tibetan Village

Mt. Siguniang Nature Reserve

Spend the day immersed in the beauty of Mount Siguniang National Park. Explore the Shuangqiao Valleys, marveling at the peaks, lakes, streams, and forests. Enjoy the wild, unspoiled nature . After lunch, we will drive three hours to DanbaTibetan Village. Wander in the traditional small town and immerse yourself in the stunning spectacle view of setting sun casting orange glow over the brick walls and distant hills. We will stay here for the night.

Danba

Danba County

Enjoy a peaceful day in Danba. Take a walk in this ethnic villages and explore the cultures and traditions of the locals. You can choose to visit local families and learn about what their daily life is like or learn some Tibetan wordsand stay another night in Danba.

Danba to Daofu (75 km, 2 hrs) | Yala Snow Mountain Hiking

Head to the sacred Yala Snow Mountain for a light hike . Discover the breathtaking sights of Yala Snow Mountain, far from the crowds. Spend the night at a hotel within the Yala Snow Mountain Scenic Area.

Daofu to Kangding (150 km, 3.5hrs) | Tagong Grassland

Visit Huiyuan Temple, the only royal Tibetan temple in the Kham Area, and then explore the serene Tagong Grassland. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this vast landscape before staying overnight in Kangding City.
