Ahopsan Forest
Ahopsan Forest is a privately owned bamboo forest located in Busan, South Korea. It has been preserved for over 400 years and offers visitors a peaceful and mystical experience with its dense bamboo groves, towering cedar trees, and winding forest paths. The name Ahopsan means "Nine Mountains" and reflects the forest's harmonious setting among the surrounding peaks. This forest is famous for its appearance in many Korean dramas and films, including “The King: Eternal Monarch” and “Kundo: Age of the Rampant.” ⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE⚠️ Ahopsan Bamboo Forest: Admission is not included. 5.00As a solo traveller, I really appreciated this tour. This was my second tour in Korea and my favorite thus far. I really liked the places we saw and although I did feel like I could have spent more time at the temple and the cultural village, this was still a great tour to get us to all that we saw. It even included a local Korean buffet that was interesting, a little bland for the proteins but delicious for the veggies and banchan. What stood out to me was the quality of the driving as well as our tour guide Shagal. Shagal was very good at timing and gave us just enough information to enjoy the tour and not get overwhelmed. Overall, I'm very happy with the tour and would book again, especially if I had Shagal as a tour guide. He was very helpful, answered questions patiently and provided some great recommendations!
