Our driver Fred was exceptional . We always felt safe while he was driver. Mohammed our Tour guide is so knowledgeable about his country. All aspects of its founding and development. The 7 days we spent together from one part of Ghana to other areas. The time passed so quickly. Explained the different sites took us to great places to visit and shop.

This was a great trip with an informative, professional and caring guide, Nana. She was ever present and made sure that we were securely checked into our hotels and had the best experience. We enjoyed every landmark visit and learning so much about the area and the local culture. This exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend this tour, operator and especially our guide and driver Francis.

Overall it was a great cultural experience to come to Ghana and visit historical sites about slave trade. The castle tours were the primary reason we visited. They were emotional and difficult to experience given the horrors African slaves endured. I also enjoyed the experiences selected such as pottery making, battik making and cooking glass. In fact the best meal of the trip was the one we learned to prepare which consisted of Jollof rice and Red Red. I would recommend others attend. Anyone who comes should prepare themselves for the impoverished areas you will see throughout tour. It's important that visitors research area in advance and have appropriate expectation. Lastly our tour guide was outstanding with lots of knowledge pride and enthusiasm everyday.
