This week long excursion around South Africa was terrific. The accommodations were top notch and we were able to pack a lot of sightseeing into the week. Just what we were looking for in this tour. Marvelous job, Jakes,

My son and I had the best time!! Jakes was a wonderful guide, and the scenery, the animals, the attractions were all amazing. The food was also excellent and very reasonable, and the lodgings were great as well - we particularly enjoyed our 2 night stay at a small hotel right on the beach at Jeffrey's Bay. Jakes also recommended a very good tour guide for us in Cape Town after our tour with him was over. We have incredible pictures and incredible memories!!

The itinerary was prefect as we wanted to see Cape Town and the garden route without having to book different separate tours.Jakes was very responsive with all our questions throughout. As we were the only booking so ended up as a private tour. Our driver was courteous and punctual. Gave us lots of informative history background to SA . We have learned so much. The Cape peninsula has captured our Hearts.

Great planning and great guide as well. Jake was responsive and replied to my email queries very promptly. The guide Graham was always punctual, knowledgeable and without a fault. There were a few small hiccups (e.g. we discovered that there was no AC in the lodging), but Jake and Graham were quick to address the issue (i.e. provided an air cooler) and the trip went on fine. If you are going to tour South Africa and uncertain about the local conditions, then you should consider Amatungulu Tours!

I became aware of the trip and the guide Jake via the homepage of Amatungulu Tours. The uncomplicated and fast contact, the super nice program points within the trip, the support before and after the trip have absolutely convinced. Jake skilfully took into account unpredictable adjustments due to the initial effects of the corona virus and replaced the program items. He has always paid attention to our health and safety. We also had a particular interest in regional cuisine, which is why we could enjoy excellent fish/oyster restaurants and specialty restaurants (ostrich fillet) with great views Jake speaks Dutch and some German in addition to English. This has facilitated many things. We did two tours with Jake (7-day Cape Town, Winelands, Garden Route and Addo National Park and 4 days Kruger Park Big 5 Safari and Awesome Panorama Route). I would visit South Africa again anytime and immediately with Jake as tour guide to experience unforgettable experiences again. I strongly recommend a guided tour, as there were great tips and sights for Insiders and the security situation requires a trained eye, such as that of our tour guide.
