We traveled with Timeh Tours in June 2025 and had a wonderful time. We traveled for 9 days and visited 4 cities across Ghana. Jojo, our driver and guide was very prompt with airport pick up and met us at our hotel on time each morning. Each day was full was culturally enriching activities and I left feeling like I learned about about Ghana, its people, history, and culture. I would highly recommend the cultural experience tour with Timeh Tours if you’re traveling to Ghana!

It's actually taken me a while to write this review because I don't know if I can convey just how much I loved this trip and working with Timeh Tours. It was unbelievable and life-changing- the only regret I have is that I didn't invite more people to come with me! I had planned a trip with a different, US-based tour company two years ago, and a week before the trip they cancelled. I had to scramble and reached out to Timeh Tours. They immediately got back to me (even with the time difference!) and had created a custom trip for us. The team communicated with me every step of the way, and even gave me different hotel options (I'm a little boujee LOL). The itinerary had even MORE than the first trip we planned and cost less. Jojo was our tour guide and he was AMAZING. Instantly treated us like family, was knowledgable, friendly, and really catered to us. Can I just say how awesome it was to have a private guide AND a private driver? We were able to take our time and really enjoy all Timeh Tours had planned. The trip was the perfect mix of history, culture, and more. While we spent time seeing and understanding the devastation of the slave trade and colonization, we also got to experience the rich, unique Ghanian culture and heritage. I learned so much and am going to hold these lessons in my heart for the rest of my life. I really cannot express just how much I appreciate and recommend Timeh Tours!

When we met our tour guide, Timothy Dadgie at the airport in Accra, our tour began immediately and continued until he returned us to the airport for our departure home on Oct, 11th. He always made us feel right at home, accommodating us always with a smile. His knowledge of the amazing/powerful historical sites, local activities such as shopping and bartering at the markets, selection of local meals and enjoying some night life was “spot on”!! And I can’t forget the beautiful beach!! I am so very fortunate to have had this opportunity to visit/tour “HOME” and the memory is embedded in my mind, heart and soul forever. Thank you Timeh Tours and Timothy D. for my opportunity if “Coming Home”!! P.S. I’ll be back!

If you want to go on a trip to Ghana, simply contact this team and they will sort you out. They made sure we had great accommodations for our budget, a really sweet ride with blasting AC(so much needed in the warm weather), and most importantly our guide Jojo who we travelled with made us feel like apart of his country which we appreciated so much. At every area we got the people were happy to see us as soon as they saw Jojo and he mentioned Timeh tours Ghana. This made us feel safe and special.

Ghana was a warm and welcoming place I left a part of me at. It was so beautiful words can’t explain how I truly felt in this special place in the able hands of Timeh tours. Mike Amuzu was my guide for my experience and he did his part to ensure I enjoyed Ghana greatly! I met the family of the founder Eric and we had a great chat and delicious home cooked meal from his mom’s kitchen. The huge mess we had (banku and peanut soup with beef) sat in my tummy till I returned home lol yummy!!!!

My wife booked for a cultural tour to surprise me for our anniversary and it was richly done. We ended up even having some romantic candlelit dinner on the beach to celebrate the day at our beach resort. Adams met us with our driver Ebenezer for our tour . Ebenezer drove well and we always felt safe during our trip in the hands of Adams who knew so much information as we requested for a knowledgeable guide. He was just the person for the job and Eric delivered. You guys are going to be in our hearts forever!

Highlight of review: This trip to Ghana changed my life! Ghana for a long time has been flirting with my mind as I wanted to take the trip for missing out on the Year of Return. I finally took the trip by booking with Timeh Tours Ghana after reading they are a young company with years of experience. Who wouldn’t want to support a young company become the best at what they do? So yes I booked with them and from the initial email to booking and concluding my tour was PROFESSIONALLY done. I got the chance to connect with my African heritage and culture through sites that were picked to ensure I experienced these such as Cape Coast castle, Ashanti Kingdom, traditional villages with beautiful vegetations, Slave Cemetary, Independence Square. I wish I could only do more on my tour but I didn’t have enough time but this tour was more than enough. Thank you for your hard works Timeh Tours Ghana.

The perfect tour doesn’t exist I thought. My friends and I had this amazing 7 days and it was lit!!! We had EVERYTHING from fun times, cultural experiences, history of the country Ghana, and relaxations after tours were great(our favorite was the dinner on the beach at Elmira). Our guide Jojo even created an afrobeat playlist just for us during our travels so we just literally always had a party going. If you are a group looking for flexibility and affordable prices worth every penny then BOOK with Timeh Tours Ghana. They told us memories were guaranteed and YES we are loving them. Thank y’all❤️
