My husband and I had a fantastic time on our private week-long Fancyellow tour of Algeria that included a day each touring the cities of Algiers and Constantine and a day at each of four archeological sites: Tipasa/Cherchell, Djémila, Tiddis, and Timgad. We drove from Algiers to Constantine, stopping on the way in Sétif to visit the Sétif Archaeological Museum, which was well worth it. We had one guide for Algiers and Tipasa/Cherche and another guide for the rest. Both were excellent: fluent in English, knowledgable, insightful, and added a lot to our understanding of the country. The drivers were also good, including the airport pickups and dropoffs. Fancyellow was flexible and responsive, allowing us to adjust the itinerary and hotels. We obtained our Algerian visa on our own. I only wish that we had been able to spend more time exploring other regions of Algeria as well.

Really enjoyed this trip. the team at Fancy Yellow were first class and my driver Najib and the three guides who brought the locations to life for me were first class. Could not fault the service before or during the trip and would highly recommend the company to anyone thinking of going to Algeria. The country is slowly opening up to tourism and is most definitely worth a visit!

We did the five day trip in Algiers and Constantine with Fancyellow. I have traveled extensively and the service provided by this company was wonderful, including assisting on how best to navigate getting a tourist visa. The two drivers Khaled and Majed were great waiting for late flights and providing additional support. Zaki in Algiers was also good on the day in Algiers even though most museums were closed due to weather. Ineme, the guide during the 3 days in Constantine, was amazing with her wealth of knowledge of history and pleasant personality. She made the experiences in Djemila, Timgad and Constantine memorable. The Roman sites and mosaics were amongst the best that I had seen and Constantine high above a gorge was beautiful. I did not know Fancyellow could help find hotels for us and recommend that you use them for this purpose as our hotel choice in Algiers was not the best, We had a small issue in the tour to Cherchell but Fancyellow immediately stepped in to resolve it. They are a classy operation and I highly recommend their services.

If I could rate this company 100 stars I would. They are first-rate professionals, with excellent communication while arranging your trip and their advice on what makes sense specific for your needs. I have travelled and lived in something like over 60 countries and rarely have seen an organization so well organized.

Visa arrangement was very helpful and response was fast. Tour was city by city and a lot of flexibility. Guide explanation was detail enough and easy to understand history or its background. Also, they introduced me to go to local hamam by myself and had really enjoyed time before night flight.

I travelled with Fancy Yellow Travel in Algeria in October and had a very good experience. The trip was well organised, and the guiding was professional and enjoyable throughout. I was guided by Wassim in Algiers, Tewfik in Constantine, Timgad, and Djemila, and Murad in Tipaza and Cherchell. All three were knowledgeable, welcoming, and committed to providing a good experience. Islam, my tour manager, was extremely responsive and supportive, especially when resolving an unexpected hotel payment issue. I also appreciated Fancy Yellow’s flexibility with deposits and allowing independent hotel bookings. As a small suggestion for the standard itineraries, offering optional alternatives to multiple Roman sites—such as Jijel, Annaba, or Skikda—could add variety for travellers who prefer it. Overall, I would happily recommend Fancy Yellow Travel to anyone visiting Algeria.

My Algeria visit way exceeded my expectations. Fancy Yellows professional team made a solo female traveler like myself very comfortable, safe, and happy. Constantine is breathtaking, Djemila Roman Ruins is amazing, the coastal area of Algeria is beautiful. One suggestion: one day Roman Ruins visit is enough.

Fancy Yellow Travel Services is simply the best. I ran into an issue getting to Algeria when my passport with my visa was stolen in Spain. Omar and Fancy Yellow assisted me in obtaining a new visa in hours … simply amazing. And as for the tour, it was absolutely first rate. I visited Algiers, Cherchell and Tipaza, the M’Zab Valley (and the five walled towns), Constantine and the Roman ruins in Tiddis, Timgad, Annaba, and of course, Djemila. My guides were incredibly professional and knowledgeable as well as wonderful companions. And all of the drivers were first rate. I cannot recommend Fancy Yellow enough. Absolutely fabulous company and people. Thanks so much Omar (and special shout out to Majed and Nahla my driver and guide in and around Constantine … they were fantastic). I reached out to Fancy Yellow Travel through Instagram, and from the very beginning the communication felt natural, clear, and genuinely welcoming. What i liked is how tailored everything felt, without it being so. They connected me with different local guides and drivers in each city, and every single one of them was excellent .. fluent, warm, perceptive, and easy to spend hours with. I saw exactly what I wanted, when I wanted, without being rushed or pushed toward the usual tourist routine. It felt personal in the right way ... like traveling with people who understand your pace and taste. I’ve taken many tours in my life. This was one of the best. Highly recommended!
