Arrive in Arusha, you will be welcomed by a Meru Slopes driver and taken to your hotel. The rest of the day will be at leisure. In the evening, you will attend the tour briefing in preparation for the upcoming safari. Your accommodation is on a full-board basis.

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am and take you on a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, you will have a full-day game drive inside this park. Later, we will transfer you to the Farm of Dreams Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is 115km from Arusha and covers an area of 2800km². Wild animals drink water from the Tarangire River, where the park's name originates. The park's major attractions are wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopard pythons, and various tree species, including the baobab trees.

After breakfast, we will drive towards the fertile highlands where the Iraqw people grow wheat, coffee, and corn. You will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and visit the Ngorongoro Crater, a sight of unimaginable beauty. This crater was formed 3 million years ago with the explosion of a volcano. Then, you will continue traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park. Serengeti translates to endless plains in Mara, the native language of the Maasai people. You will arrive at the park around midday. The Serengeti is the largest in Tanzania, with diverse landscapes and habitats—grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. Depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals searching for food and water as they migrate through the area annually. After an extensive game drive, we will drive you to Serengeti Serena Lodge, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

The entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is an abundant wildlife habitat, such as impalas, buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. However, it is more well-known for its annual migration of herds of zebras and wildebeest. The rainfall determines the time of the year when the animals migrate and vary yearly. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. They return to the north during the extended rainy season from April to June. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always lurking nearby. After an unforgettable day, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will head out for another game drive in the Serengeti National Park. You might spot the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard) before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves, offering an uninterrupted game-viewing experience. Arriving at the crater's edge, you will have a glimpse of what awaits you the following day—glistening streams, open grassland, and an infinite amount of animals. You will spend the night at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge on the crater's edge, with the orange glow of sunset surrounding you as you drift off to sleep.

The breathtaking views of the rising sun over the crater's edge reward early risers! After a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the Seven Wonders of Africa and the most incredible ecosystems on Earth, formed millions of years ago in the massive explosion of a volcano. It is 610m deep and covers roughly around 260 square kilometers. Due to its dense animal population of approximately 25,000, the crater offers the best wildlife viewing of all the parks in Tanzania. In a matter of minutes, you will see wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and some of the more than 500 bird species in the area. You might catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhinos through the grass with a bit of luck. After the game drives in Ngorongoro Crater, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay at Arusha Serena Hotel.

Today is the final day of your 7-day midrange tour of Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, we will take you to Kilimanjaro International Airport, or you can extend your trip with a beach holiday in Zanzibar. The drop-off in Arusha will be either at the Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport.

5.00My experience was surreal, exceeded all my expectations! We were in a group of 6 friends and from the beginning of our contact Gifit was attentive and helpful, leaving us so calm! Regarding our Juma guide, this one was sensational! A guide with a giant heart, honest , caring and thanks to him we saw the Big Five! People the Big Five... with a lot of emotion when he with his persistence located the Rhinoceros, because it is very difficult to see him and we saw 3! Our hearts are in ecstasy! In addition to Big, Juma showed many other animals, explained about them and also about African culture! I also had the experience with a balloon flight which Merlu Lopes intermediated and was very quiet! The accommodation also allowed us surreal experiences! I highly recommend to those who want to realize this dream, because we had a surreal attention!

5.00It was an incredible experience. I had wonderful days with my friends. Meru Slopes provided us with wonderful lodges in the middle of African Savannah. Wonderful food, tbm service was 10. The Gift is also always accessible and agile in answering and removing questions. In particular this safari was amazing by our driver Juma, a man of huge heart and very experienced in safari, managed to provide us to see the Big Five. It is definitely a reliable Enterprise. 5.00We did the safari with a group of 06 friends! These were sensational days! Our guide Juma is very experienced, attentive and super concerned with our well-being! Thanks to him we were able to see the Big Five and many other wild animals! All lodging was excellent, staff, food and accommodation! The boss Gift removed all our doubts from the beginning, always very attentive, friendly and efficient!! Super recommend the safari and Meru Slopes agency!!

5.00Wonderful experience. Our guide Florian has made the difference. He anticipates well. Sharp in spotting the animals. Difficulties on the way and always tries to get the best place for photos. Consulted well and takes into account the specific need of us. Meru slopes as an organization reacts quickly, is flexible and gave us the feeling of complete unburdening. Satisfied customers and recommend everyone to book. Book Florian if you are looking for someone who does a good job without a big ego. The tents in the parks were beautiful. Toilets clean. And the food well organized.

5.00What an unbelievable 7-day safari. We were lucky enough to see so many different animals and landscapes. Our tour guides Jacob (Jacobo) and Saleem were friendly and helpful throughout. They’re clearly both huge parts of the safari community, sharing food when they had excess and supporting others to locate rare animals via the radio. I would highly recommend both of them to anyone who is considering a safari! They clearly love what they do and it makes the whole experience so much more memorable. Saleems cooking was yummy every single day, and Jacob has a real knack for spotting animals at ridiculous distances and always making sure the jeep is in the right place. Thanks to both of you!
