This was, without question, the trip of a lifetime — an absolute 10/10 experience from start to finish. Rajab and Patrick were incredible! Their deep knowledge and genuine kindness made every single day unforgettable. We saw an extraordinary number of animals, including the Big Five with ease. It was clear they knew exactly where to go and when, their skill made this trip what it was. The accommodation throughout was brilliant, and the food was delicious, especially the lunches, which were far better than what we saw other tour groups having. I have dietary requirements and was accommodated the whole trip with ease. We felt completely safe and cared for at all times. The entire trip was stress-free — all we had to do was provide our flight details, and everything else was handled. It made planning effortless and allowed us to fully relax and enjoy every moment. I have already recommended Sopai to all of our family and friends considering a trip to Tanzania, and I wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again. We’re already dreaming of coming back for Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar — and we wouldn’t choose anyone else. An unforgettable adventure with the very best! Thank you Rajab and Patrick!

I cannot recommend sopai safaris highly enough, Rajab and Patrick are truly fantastic and provided a 5 star experience that we’ll never forget. Rajab was extremely helpful and ensured that we had the best trip. From picking us up at the Tanzania border, explaining the full 8-day itinerary, everything was a seamless experience. We came on the safari for our honeymoon and Rajab and Patrick made sure every accommodation and tour experience was aware of this, which made the trip that extra special (all hotels and even the hot air balloon experience provided a honeymoon cake and danced and sang for us). When we got picked up and taken to our first accommodation, Rajab made sure that we knew exactly what we were going to be doing each day of the trip and where we would be staying. Rajab and Patrick made sure that the food arranged by the hotels for our lunches were of the highest quality and not just sandwiches which we saw many of the larger companies provide their guest with. They were also very knowledgeable about the wildlife, national parks, local fauna, constantly explaining the history, conservation efforts and information regarding the wildlife we came across in the national parks. Rajab and Patrick at Sopai are 2 of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet and they even gave us a gift (Serengeti rose bottle) on our last day. If you want an experience that feels authentic with kind and generous people who will go out of your way to make you feel special, Sopai safaris is the right guide for you.

We had an incredible family adventure in Tanzania! The safari was breathtaking, with amazing game drives where we spotted lion, leopard, cheetah, and even the elusive black rhino — truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Leonard, our guide, was exceptional: knowledgeable, passionate, and incredibly patient, making every moment exciting and educational for both adults and our 3-year-old daughter, who absolutely loved it! The lodges were stunning, cozy, and full of charm, with fantastic hospitality and delicious meals that made our stay even more enjoyable. The Arusha city tour was equally fascinating. Elisante, our guide, was friendly, informative, and engaging, providing excellent insights into the culture, history, and daily life of the city. A huge thank you to Rajab and Sopai for creating these unforgettable memories for our family. This trip was perfect for families and wildlife enthusiasts alike, offering a seamless combination of adventure, comfort, and unforgettable experiences.

I will never forget our safari with Sopai Safari. Rajab, the owner, was with us the whole 6 days, guiding us through Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara. He made us feel like friends, not clients. The lodges were beautiful, the drives were exciting, and every detail was taken care of. Supporting a Tanzanian-owned company like Sopai Safari feels good – but experiencing their hospitality feels even better!

We went on a safari in Tanzania with Sopai Safaris, and it was amazing. They were great to work with from the very beginning to the end. The owner, Rajab, told us the trip would be special, and he was right! We saw something I'll never forget: a mother cheetah jumped right on top of our jeep! She was teaching her cub how to hunt. It was so cool to see. There were so many animals. We saw lots of lions every single day, even more than we saw elephants. Our guide, Leo, was the best. He loves his job and knows all the good spots in the Serengeti. He took us to places without other cars, so it was just us and the animals. Thanks to Leo, we saw lions, cheetahs, and a leopard. I really recommend Sopai Safaris. You should ask for Leo to be your guide. We will definitely book our next trip with them!

What a wonderful experience with Sopai safaris! End to end planning was great- right from pick up from the airport to hotel stay to food to the car was just amazing. We were very satisfied with the arrangements. We didnot have a single disappointment day. On top of this the car was very comfortable and in great condition. The guide Tom, was very knowledgeable and helpful with answering any questions. He knew areas to look for wildlife and really put in an extra effort to spot the animals so that we get a view. What a phenomenal experience. We definitely recommend Sopai for your future trips.

Sopai Safaris offers such an amazing experience! I’m just back from Tanzania where me and my husband did a safari with Sopai Safaris across Tarangire NP, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara. It was our first safari and we couldn’t choose better. Mohamed welcomed us in the airport with a driver and together they brought us to Arusha in our first accomodation where he made sure to explain all the needed info for the safari days. The day after we met our fantastic safari guide Risiki who was a real gift for us, as his name says. Risiki is a really nice person and a very well prepared guide. He knows really a lot of animal behaviours and he shared all his knowledge with us. We were able to see all the big five in our first safari and we couldn’t ask for more. Moreover, we were really surprised in Serengeti when Risiki gifted us a wine bottle for a happy hour in the NP with a sunset view in front of baby lions playing with their moms. At the end of the safari we met again with Mohamed who made sure we enjoyed our experience in the 4 days safari. I really loved how Mohamed is taking care of his clients and wants to make sure to make you happy. We couldn’t wait to come back to Africa!

Thanks to SOPAI it was one of the best experiences in life so far. Starting from very simple things as always clean car, nice food, magnificent safari tents, good scedule, attention to us and help if necessary. Special thanks to our guide David - very nice person who during one week became our friend. He is a real professional, you can see that it’s not just his job, it’s his passion. He knows everything about every single animal we saw and with his help we were able not just to see the animals but also analyze what and why they are doing, their reactions, etc. Since the first safari day we knew that SOPAI team will take care of us and do everything so we would have the best experience. I cannot compare SOPAI with other companies providing similar services, but I don’t believe that it’s possible to get something more. Higly recommended.

David’s knowledge of animal behaviour was fantastic! He was always the first guide to get in position, whether it was a herd of Wildebeest crossing the Mara river or for a lion stalking gazelles.
