Me and my friend booked 9 Days Golden Triangle Tour with Indian Wildlife after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were picked up by our driver Mr Raju, who is such a kind man. He took us all around the "Golden Triangle" and proved to be a very skilled and capable driver. We felt very safe with him and he took good care of us with frequent bottles of chilled water. He was also very good at pointing out things of interest as we were driving. We started off our tour in Delhi where we stayed at The Suryaa Hotel. Would not recomend this one as it was quite dated, room was dirty and a lot of noise from outside disturbing my sleep. But the staff there were very nice and the restaurant had nice food. We had a guide named Suraj. Felt like it took him a little time to warm up and get chatty. He took us to a carpet maker, which was not on our planned itinerary and kind of caught us off guard, the man was obviously very keen to sell and the whole experience was a little uncomfortable. Next stop was Agra where we stayed at Trident Hotel, this was a lovely hotel with nice rooms and lovely staff. Our guide in Agra was Rajkumar, who was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and was an excellent photographer! This guide also took us to a seller, this time a marble workshop. We were a little bit more prepared for it this time and had a nicer experience with a much less pushy seller. Next stop was Bharatpur where we stayed at Laxmi Vilas Palace, the hotel in itself was pretty but the staff was giving weird vibes, almost like it was an inconvenience that we were there. We did a tour of a bird sanctuary where there was some initial confusion about whether or not we had a guide booked. Eventually a local bird guide did come with us in the rickshaw, who had a large scope for us to see birds up close. I would imagine the tour had been a dissapointment without this guy as the rickshaw driver didn't have this equipment and also didnt seem to speak much English or know about the birds. Next stop was Ranthambore, we stayed at Ranthambore Bagh Palace which was an incredibly nice hotel. We did 2 safari trips to the park, one in the morning where we saw tigers and one in the early afternoon where we just saw deer and monkeys. There was a local contact of joyful here that kindly lent us a proper camera as it turned out mobile phones had recently been banned from use in the park (although nobody seemed to uphold this rule when we were actually on the safari) but we are yet to recieve the photos we took... Next stop was Jaipur where we stayed at Hilton Jaipur. This was also an excellent hotel with really great rooms and restaurant. Our guide here was Rajesh, who was also very good and took great photos for us. By now we were expecting another sales pitch, and we were right. Rajesh took us to both a block printing textile shop and a gemstone dealer. Our last stop was Sariska, we stayed at The Guldaar, it was a very bumpy drive to get to, which is obviously not the hotels fault. It had beautiful grounds and pool. The rooms were very comfortable. The staff didnt understand much English which made for some confusions/mistakes when ordering food. Overall we loved our trip, we felt safe, we felt looked after, we had good guides, (but all could benefit from improving their English a little as they often didn't understand when we asked questions.) The communication with Sonia Handa in terms of booking and planning was easy. Would definitely recomend this trip!

Incredible Golden Triangle + Goa Experience – A Trip I’ll Never Forget I just completed an amazing journey through India and it truly exceeded every expectation I had. Our itinerary included Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, Udaipur, Jaipur, and ended with a relaxing stay on the beaches of Goa. Every stop offered something unique, and the entire experience felt like a perfect blend of culture, history, wildlife, and relaxation. The highlight of the trip was visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise. It was even more breathtaking than I imagined and absolutely lived up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful places in the world. We also explored Agra Fort and the Baby Taj, both stunning examples of Mughal architecture. One of the most thrilling experiences was the Ranthambore tiger safari. Seeing wildlife in the park was incredible — deer, crocodiles, mongoose, and even a sloth bear — but the moment we spotted a massive tiger walking right in front of our jeep was unforgettable. We were able to observe him for nearly an hour while he calmly moved through the forest. Udaipur was another favorite. The views of Lake Pichola were magical, and the city felt peaceful and romantic compared to the bustle of other destinations. The architecture and sweeping palace views made it a photographer’s dream. Jaipur brought vibrant energy to the trip with its beautiful palaces and colorful streets. One of the most memorable experiences there was attending a cooking class with an Indian family, which gave us a wonderful glimpse into local life and cuisine. After the busy Golden Triangle portion of the trip, finishing in Goa on the beach was the perfect way to unwind. Staying in a beach hut right on the sand, listening to the waves, and enjoying the slower pace felt like the ideal ending to an incredible adventure. A huge part of what made this trip so enjoyable was having a private driver Punan throughout the journey. He was professional, safe, and incredibly helpful. Traveling long distances across India can be daunting, but having a dedicated driver made everything smooth and stress-free. India surprised me in so many ways. The people were warm and welcoming, the food was fantastic, the history is extraordinary, and the experiences were unlike anything else I’ve done. If you are considering the Golden Triangle with additional destinations like Ranthambore and Goa, I cannot recommend it enough. It offers the perfect mix of culture, wildlife, history, and relaxation. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime trip.

This is my third trip that Joyful Holidays has organised for me (as a solo female traveller) and was again a great experience. It took in Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Ranthambore and Jaipur. My driver Shiv was great - we covered a lot of miles and I felt very safe in his car throughout the trip. My guides in each city Kartik, Sandeep, Dilip and one other whose name I can’t remember, were also excellent. And again, I very much appreciated Sonia’s guidance on what sightseeing was achievable in the limited time I had. Many thanks, I will be back.

As I sit on our final day in Delhi reflecting on our tour I cannot believe how much we have packed into the last 10 days. Our tour has allowed us to experience so many different areas of India it has been an assault on the senses. I have loved every minute of it. Our driver, Parveen, has been exceptional and made the entire journey top class with his attention to detail, friendliness and helpful nature. Along the way our tour guides have ensured we have had all the information we required about the sites we visited as well as being professional, friendly and joining in with the laughter. The organisation by Joyful Holidays has been top notch and the hotels we have stayed in have perfectly met our needs and provided us with something different in each stay. Whilst all have been great our stay at Serai Bagh in Ranthambore and the Parallel Hotel in Udaipur were exceptional. We leave India with a mountain of memories and a desire to return and explore more. Thank you to everyone in making this trip very special for us.

We opted for a tour including Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, Udaipur and Jaipur. We booked through Tour Radar who used a company called Joyful Holidsys. We amended the recommended tour to add a further 2 days. We went as 2 couples and had a truly amazing experience. The hotels were perfect for us - very good quality without being pompous and the tour guides in each city were superb. We have to say a huge thanks to our driver for the trip - Parveen. He was kind, thoughtful, friendly and full of good humour. He made our experience very special. Thanks to Sonia for organising such a memorable trip. We loved our time in India. If you are coming to India, do it as an organised tour as you will see so much more than doing it on your own.

Our visit first to India was made special by the excellent organisation and communication by Sonia, and of course, our driver Parveen who was professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. Parveen’s service made us feel relaxed and safe throughout our journey. The hotels were all chosen well for our needs, providing very comfortable stays each with a very good range of restaurant choices. The staff in each hotel provided exceptional service. On our trip the local tour guides were very knowledgeable and passionate and went out of their way to ensure we had the best experience. I would highly recommend using this company for a trip to India and would, without doubt, use them again personally.

I traveled with Alison (who wrote an extensive review of our trip) and I cannot express how much we loved and appreciated this tour, especially Mr. Rampal. He took excellent care of us the entire 8 days and we’ve had many chats and laughs in the car together. Mr. Rampal is a true gem and made our experience in India 100x better! Sonia and her team were also super helpful and took care of everything, this trip felt like a true vacation as we were taken care of. Do not expect to do everything that is on the itinerary as is (e.g., we could not see the Taj Mahal at sunrise because there was too much fog), but we hit all of the major destinations and the itinerary was flexible to our needs. All of the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, I have a new love for art history because of their expertise and passion. We’ve made lasting memories because of this tour and I highly recommend booking Sonia and her team if you plan to visit India!
