OUTSTANDING trip that I would recommend to any mountain biker! The trails are challenging for all levels and very unique! The people are amazing, and make you want to stay! The food is great and actually very healthy! This is a bucket list trip that you will want to do every year!! I had been wanted to go to Colombia for years, and Colombia exceeded my already high expectations. I plan to go back many times! Activexpedition is a world class trip and guiding company! This was our second international trip with them, and we plan to continue using them for our international adventures!

This trip was phenomenal. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly and warm, and very excited to show us their special little part of Colombia. The rides were fun, challenging, and made me a better rider by the end of the trip. A lot of special experiences that I will never forget!

This was a great trip! Not only is the riding next-level, but ActiveExpeditions does a great job of coordinating the logistics to get from one region to another and the local contacts really connect you with the local community-- both the riding community and the people who live and work in the regions you are riding through. Meeting local people and seeing how these local riding groups and trips like this one are helping the community was a definite highlight of the trip. We also got connected with (and got to ride with) local pro riders - a great way to level up your riding skills! The riding itself is intense, but so much fun. It's mostly on steep natural trails with lots of bumps, rocks, roots, and technical bits, although there is a mix of these trails and some more sculpted trails in the "bike parks". The guides are super patient and helpful, and will give you pointers about how to hit the bigger features, but never are pushing you to try anything outside of your ability level. My riding skills improved so much during this week! Christian and ActiveExpeditions were also super flexible and allowed us to adjust the trip to fit our needs. We wanted more riding days and they definitely gave that to us! We were exhausted, but it was great. Other groups might want to connect more with the local communities or tour the cities and coffee farms, and they are totally willing to adjust the trip to match what you want. I highly recommend this trip! It was an amazing way to see Colombia as a mountain biker.
