The Grand Palace
(Option 1 Entry fee is 500THB per person) The Grand Palace: Bangkok's Historic Heart In 1782, the new King strategically relocated the capital to the left bank of the Chao Phraya River, using the western canals for defense. Here, the Grand Palace was built, becoming the center of Bangkok. This sprawling complex covers 218,000 square meters and is encircled by 19,000 meters of crenellated walls. Much like the palaces in the former capitals of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya, it features residential and throne halls, administrative buildings, and a royal temple.
Wat Phra Chetuphon
(Option 2 Entry fee is 300THB) Wat Pho: A Historic Hub of Thai Culture Wat Pho, famously known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha, boasts a long history, with its origins tracing back to the 16th century. It underwent major renovations and expansions during the reigns of King Rama I and Rama III of the Chakri Dynasty. Today, Wat Pho is renowned for three key aspects: its impressive Reclining Buddha statue, its significance as a hub for Thai traditional medicine and massage, and its distinction as Thailand's first public university.

We had the tour with Nae guide, he is fluent in English and very, very kind and nice. I recommend him 100% ! We did more than 10 types of dishes which were excellent, from starters, main courses and desserts. Nae knows the spots with genuine food made by local families. Go for it and enjoy!

Our tour guy was Nae and he was amazing. He took us everywhere. We wanted to go, interpreted for us, helped us pay, shop, buy souvenirs and authentic Thailand merchandise. We wanted to stay away from touristy areas and go see the local culture and he knew exactly where to take us. We did a local ferry, long boat tour down the river, sky train, local market shopping, local food, taxi ride, etc. everything was fabulous and his English was good.

Nae was a great host and your guide! He took us to some of the finest farmers market you will ever see where they have all kinds of floral arrangements and fruits for you to purchase at a very good price. He also took us on a nice long boat ride and we got to see some of the riverside areas of Bangkok. And he took us to a nice place for lunch with a great view of the river. You won’t regret using Nae as a tour guide. Highly recommended !!

This was a private tour but well worth the price with a guide well versed in the history of Thailand. This was the second day tour from the port of Laemchabang the cruise ship port for Bangkok. It is another long drive away from the port. Today we visited the King's Summer Palace away from the city. It was a complete opposite from the crowded hectic atmosphere of the city palace. It was a peaceful uncrowded and serene place. It had beautiful grounds with ponds and bridges with mostly Victorian architecture (what a surprise). Our tour also included a visit to the Ayutthaya area with its ancient temples. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Wow, is all I can say. What a great day with Kanny exploring Bangkok. We only had one day and wanted to see as much as possible and Kanny made it happen. In which we thoroughly appreciated as she took my sight seeing wish list, did all the work with figuring out the mode of transportation of how to get there and did the communicating etc etc etc. We rode a Tuk Tuk, a river boat and train all in one day!! We learned so much in our day and highly recommend. Thank you Kanny for a fun, no stress site seeing, informative day.

We spent an unforgettable eight hours exploring Bangkok with our guide, Kanny, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, Kanny made us feel like locals rather than tourists. She took us to hidden gems and secret spots that we would have never discovered on our own—places far from the typical tourist routes, yet full of charm and authenticity. What we loved most was how she adapted the experience to our family’s interests. We weren’t exactly easy to plan for since we wanted something different from the usual sights, but Kanny understood us perfectly. She crafted a route that matched our style and allowed us to genuinely immerse ourselves in the city’s rhythm. Beyond her knowledge and professionalism, Kanny brought warmth, flexibility, and a personal touch to every moment. It never felt like a tour—it felt like spending the day with a friend who knows Bangkok inside out. We were really sad at the end of the tour as we had to say goodbye to her. We couldn’t recommend Kanny more highly. If you’re looking for a unique, meaningful, and truly personalized experience in Bangkok, she is absolutely the perfect guide.
