Penang Hills
Penang Hill is a hill resort comprising a group of peaks near the center of Penang Island, Malaysia. It is located within the Air Itam suburb, 9 km (5.6 mi) west of the center of George Town. Penang Hill is also known by the Malay name Bukit Bendera, which actually refers to Flagstaff Hill, the most developed peak. One of the peaks is known as Strawberry Hill, which was also the name of a house owned by Francis Light, founder of Penang colony.

3.00I personally think going 8-10 tourist spots within a day isn’t possible and I would recommend going alone without acquiring a private tour. This does not include entrance fees and each tourist spot was far from each other. We didn’t complete the penang cable car and didn’t have time to go to Batu Ferringhi but it was still fun

5.00Fascinating place George Town Penang. LOTS to see and do and of course a good guide in imperative. Ask for “boy”. What a lovely man. Great personality, knowledgeable and unbelievably polite with a great sense of humour knows what to see and do, MANY options and most important in Penang “boy” is an excellent driver. What a day out he gave us. He is 5 star plus!

5.00I was nervous booking this as it was the first time I've used Tripadvisor and it was a last minute booking, but I'm so glad that I did. I had a solo tour with a very knowledgeable and flexible guide and was able to really get to know Penang. When we first met, he asked what I was interested in, I told him that I was interested in the history and culture, and he catered my experience around that. It was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see the most out of the city in a quick amount of time.

5.00This tour is a good way to cover a lot of ground in Penang in one day. I had an itinerary in mind, but with heavy rain for part of the day, the driver, Nasir, made helpful suggestions - temples, museums, a mansion, and then several outdoor sights once the weather cleared. It turned what could have been a washout into a full and worthwhile day. Nasir was personable, accommodating, spoke good English, and keep things moving at a comfortable pace. The car was clean and comfortable, which made the ride between stops easy. My advice: request an English-speaking driver, bring cash for site entry, and enjoy.
