What To Expect
Start your day with a unique experience on the Costa Brava with this guided kayaking tour departing at 8:15 AM, the ideal time to enjoy calm seas, soft morning light, and a quieter coastline without crowds. The activity is conducted in a single closed-cockpit sea kayak (not sit-on-top) — the type used for coastal touring due to its efficiency, stability, and protection from splashes. Before setting off, your guide will provide clear instructions on basic paddling technique, kayak handling, and safety procedures, so no prior experience is required. Over approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, you will follow a scenic coastal route past some of the area’s most iconic landmarks. Paddle along the cliffs of Les Sofreres, pass Cala del Molí — famous for its dramatic seaside via ferrata — and continue toward Cala Ametller and the distinctive rocky headland of Cap de Mort. The highlight of the excursion is reaching the Cova dels Rats Penats, a spectacular sea cave accessible only from the water. This activity is conducted exclusively in single closed-cockpit sea kayaks (not sit-on-top).

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the kayak experience. Our guide, Ricky, was so nice and fun and accommodating. He really made the trip enjoyable. We chose the longer sea kayaks so we could cover more ground. It was great to get out into the water and be able to look back up at the land, a nice alternative to hiking.
