We really enjoyed Captain Z. He was very informational and entertaining. We thought it was great to have a captain narrate the tour itself. It was a very windy and pretty cold on the top deck, but that was the weather . We would definitely recommend.

Clean, accessible, well narrated. Great view anywhere you sat. The drinks were also very yummy.

The overall experience felt pretty typical for a tourist outing. The boat ride itself was relaxing, but the prices for drinks, snacks, and souvenir photos were unreasonably high. On a positive note, the cashiers and bartenders were very friendly, and the commentary was decent.

Great staff, deck hand, bar personal and tour guide. The tour is boring because the visual and story lacks interest.

The breeze on the upper deck was delightful, there were good options for food and drink, and the restrooms were accessible, but I was hoping to see more than structures built for construction crews, docking for tugboats, and a cannon shot from Fort Jackson.

Get on board early if you want a seat with an umbrella (top deck). For the daytime cruise, be sure to have lunch before you go.

We thoroughly enjoyed being onboard the Savannah Queen and interacting with the fantastic staff. The drinks and ice cream were great, but the tour guide didn’t tell us a whole lot and then wanted a tip at the end and that left us puzzled. I would recommend the tour purely for the boat ride.
