This was a truly amazing experience, with Nigel loving seamlessly between characters, accents, and parts of the tale. The venues were perfect, with great drinks, and everything was smooth and practiced. I cannot wait for the next experience!

David (aka Nigel Humbuggins) was a fantastic storyteller. The way he brought the characters and scenes to life kept our whole group hooked from start to finish. He's clearly a true theatrical pro - engaging, funny and just fun to be around. We experienced the South Slope in a totally new (and very festive) way.

A delightful retelling of Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Nigel (David Doersch) convincingly acts out the characters, taking on each voice, accent and posture so that you could swear he's really 3 ghosts, Scrooge, Marley, Bob Cratchet, Tiny Tim, and all the supporting cast, all the while herding the group expertly from pub to pub and staying on schedule to the minute! Partly outdoors so dress for the weather, some walking, not too much, but wear comfortable shoes.

We wanted to do something a little different to keep the holiday festivities going, and this experience was perfect! Nigel (David) is a gifted actor and wonderful storyteller! We were able to order various beverages—both alcoholic and non—at a variety of unique places in downtown. It was a perfect balance of entertainment and downtime, so we were also able to get to know other people in the group. We highly recommend this and look forward to doing it again. (David said they do other seasonal tour, so we will definitely be back for more.) Thank you for a great experience!

This was great fun and a good way to see new places. The story was awesome and he never slipped out of character. The drinks were amazing. (Even the non alcoholic Chia Tea I got at the last stop)

This exceeded all our expectations! We enjoyed several pubs and an array of drinks that did not disappoint but the true star of the night was the gentleman that delivered the Christmas Carol story out of Dickens book! He was absolutely amazing! His accent, his mannerisms, and how he told the story made it come alive in our minds. That, along with all the beautiful decorations we passed by as we meandered through the town of Asheville really set the tone for our Christmas and kickstarted it in a way unlike anything we’ve ever experienced! !

My friend and I had a wonderful time at the Christmas Carol pub crawl. Nigel was an awesome storyteller! We felt immersed in the story. The evening went at a perfect pace. I would highly recommend for a fun night out, corporate team building or a birthday gift for someone special. I look forward to the next one. Thank you!
