Hello !
We are a team of professional guides in the ancient and beautiful city of Samarkand.
Itinerary:
The Gur-Emir Mausoleum is the burial place of Tamerlane and his descendants. You will hear related facts and legends.
Registan Square is a visiting card of Samarkand. I will tell you about the magnificent mosques and madrasahs located in it.
Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque - You will admire its sky-blue dome and arch the size of the Milky Way.
Hazrat Khizr Mosque was reconstructed in the 19th century, replacing the one destroyed in the 13th century. The original mosque on this site dates back to the 8th century.
The memorial complex Shakhi-Zinda is one of the mysterious architectural monuments of Samarkand. It is believed that this is where the grave of Kusam ibn Abbas, an associate of the Prophet Muhammad himself, is located.

I will tell you about the architectural solutions of this place, about the affairs and fate of Timur and about the interior decoration of the tomb - I’m sure you will be captivated by the “starry sky”! Registan
In the 15th-17th centuries it was the educational and spiritual center of the city. You will examine in detail the madrassas located on it: Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tallyakari. Great walking tour, very detailed explanations about the history and culture and always highlighting that this is from an Uzbeck perspective, as history is always a tale that has as many versions as there are tellers. The group was lovely as well.

The guide is fantastic. It has a clear, historical focus based on a selection of typical periods of Uzbek history. He makes his point of view methodologically clear beforehand by explaining, in the spirit of constructivism, that his inner Uzbek view must be that of Azerbaijanis or Kazakhs, for example. In addition comes his friendly manner, which is characterized by humor. I think he communicates in such a way that people with different backgrounds, different degrees of education and different interests will get their money's worth. I highly recommend him. Andy

Sitora the guide showed us around the key bits of her city, she was friendly, helpful and knew lots of interesting things. We started at the Amir Temur Mausoleum, she was easy to find. We took in the Registan complex (just as a fly by, it deserves its own tour), the Bibi-Khanim mausoleum and mosque, the across to Islom Karimov's burial site. We were shown Muslim burial at the cemetery and ended at the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, for us to explore in our own time. I would recommend this tour and particularly Sitora.

It was a cool city tour with many interesting historical facts, not easy to remember everything. We booked the tour in Russian for 17 USD per person and visited a number of locations. There were just two of us in March and the guide. The tour lasted a little over 3 hours. We also had a short photo session in national dresses at Registan (around 70 usd for the pair), and our guide waited for us. Many thanks to our guide, Laziz!

I saw this amazing tour, I wrote the guide directly because I couldn't book through the site, and everything was clear in terms of communication, consultations, guys are responsive, the tour itself is rich to see the city - the best option, all understood. The guides are good, everything prompts and after the tour you can clarify, address as local. The goodwill was felt throughout the tour. It's a great option to spend the day in Samarkand

We loved our tour guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and funny, gave us a lot of information but in a succinct digestible way, and gave us time to walk and take in the sites ourselves. We learnt a lot and had a great day out. Definitely a highlight of our trip, thank you!

I would like to recommend this tour, Laziz knows history, he tried to make us feel comfortable all the way. We also asked additional questions, This tour is especially useful for solo-travelers with a limited time for sightseeings.
