Hello !
We are a team of professional guides in the ancient and beautiful city of Samarkand.
Itinerary:
The Gur-Emir Mausoleum is the burial place of Tamerlane and his descendants. You will hear related facts and legends.
Registan Square is a visiting card of Samarkand. I will tell you about the magnificent mosques and madrasahs located in it.
Bibi-Khanum Cathedral Mosque - You will admire its sky-blue dome and arch the size of the Milky Way.
Hazrat Khizr Mosque was reconstructed in the 19th century, replacing the one destroyed in the 13th century. The original mosque on this site dates back to the 8th century.

Gur Emir Mausoleum
Amir Timur and his beloved grandchildren Muhammad Sultan, Ulugbek and other family members are buried here. I will tell you about the architectural solutions of this place, about the affairs and fate of Timur and about the interior decoration of the tomb - I’m sure you will be captivated by the “starry sky”! We will see from inside!
Registan
In the 15th-17th centuries it was the educational and spiritual center of the city. You will examine in detail the madrassas located on it: Ulugbek, Sherdor and Tallyakari. And I will share the features of the brilliant architecture of the Timurid era. You will imagine the times when these buildings served as religious schools and scientific centers, “read” the plots of the facades and simply enjoy the beauty of the complex. We will see from outside!

Sitora, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, kind, and funny! She did a great job showing the sites. Would absolutely recommend her and this experience! The tour itself was also stunning. I saw some structures that I would have never seen otherwise, and it blew my expectations completely away.

The 4 hours city tour was great! Our guide, Fayoziddin is a teacher working part time as tour guide for the Love of his city so he can show it to the people like us, who interested in the beauty of Samarkan and the history behind it. Fayoziddin crafted a very complete tour with perfect logistic, so we can have coffee and bathroom breaks in between. Highly recommend a great tour with very reasonable price!

We had a great tour with Fayoziddin. He knows a lot and even stunned my history-degree husband. Within a few hours, he had us understand Samarkand. Before and after the walking tour, he kept in touch, was very fast in answering questions and made sure everything went smoothly.

Our tour guide SITORA was informative and we all chatted up about our backgrounds, and it was a friendly group. I recommend it but I thought the tour ignored the “Asian“ part of Central Asia history and focused on religion.

a pleasant walk with Fayoziddin in the historic part of the city. The guide is culturally very knowledgeable and good at keeping attention high. He is also likeable and has a great sense of humor and speaks 5 languages. I recommend this tour to everyone to have a great introduction to the history of Samarkand and Uzbekistan and then be able to decide the places to visit (for a fee) already having an idea of what you are going to see.
