We begin with a complimentary French breakfast in the neighborhood Saint-Germain-des-Prés at the café Les Deux Magots, where influential writers such as James Baldwin and Richard Wright spent much of their time. We'll explore many historical sites in and around the 5th and 6th arrondissements as we make our way over to the neighborhood of Pigalle. There we'll discover why the neighborhood at one point earned the nickname "Black Montmartre". But no Black Paris tour would be complete without visiting the historical neighborhood, Chateau Rouge aka Little Africa, with its many shops and businesses.
You’ll receive an Unlimited Metro Pass that we’ll utilize to get to locations not within walking distance. The tour will then conclude with an amazing meal together at one of the best African restaurants in the city where we can share our favorite things about the day (Meal Not Included In Price).

Knight was an excellent tour guide. We truly enjoyed this immersive experience. We got to see parts of Paris normally you would not see and experience the culture and food. I highly recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Paris.

This is a really nice tour if you want to learn some black history in regard to France and see some black culture during your visit. It was easy to find the meetup location with an uber. The meetup restaurant had tasty breads to try and I was able to also enjoy a cappuccino. The guide was very personable and also very knowledgeable. I had a great time with him. I purchased nice items at the tour stops. I enjoyed the food at the restaurant which was the last stop on the tour. This is a walking tour. So, come prepared wearing comfortable shoes. We took the metro several times and also the public bus. It allowed for a more local experience which was exactly as I had hoped.

This is a fabulous WALKING tour that takes you through key historic neighborhoods. We walked, took the Metro and the bus. Our guide shared an astonishing trove of amazing back history with us. It was a highlight of our trip to Paris.

This tour was all that and then some! Knight was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a wonderful history lesson along the way. We had the chance to taste authentic cuisine while supporting local businesses, which made the experience even more special. From riding the metro to the bus, Knight made sure we knew what to expect and what NOT to do while using the public transportation.😄 There were three of us visiting Paris to celebrate our birthdays, and the highlight was a surprise slice of sweet potato cake—complete with a candle and a “Happy Birthday!” Such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for culture, flavor, and memorable moments!

The Black Paris Tour was an unbelievable experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. Our tour guide Knight really brought the black cultural experience to life for us, he was super knowledgeable, effortlessly sharing his insights with facts and vivid details. Although the tour was 6 hours, it didn't feel like it because it was well organized keeping you engaged the entire time. This is definitely a must do when you're in Paris.

I flew to in Paris for a party but I was advised by my neighbor advised to do a Black Paris Tour. I read the tour itinerary and the reviews of Knight/ Tour Guide and knew this was it!! He's so patient, well versed, and knowledgeable about the history of the black diaspora in Paris. This is a true value. It's worth every penny and more. Thanks Knight, we loved it.

A friend and I spent our first day in Paris on the “A Day in Black Paris” tour. Knight was our guide. He was so pleasant, thoughtful, knowledgeable, informative, and fun! I would love to bring others to Paris to come take the tour again. This was the best imaginable start to our trip!
