First of all, this is the a fantastic tour. It is, without a doubt, the best thing you can do in Mongolia. And I don't see how any guided excursion could be better than the one I booked through Viator. I arrived during the coldest October date in memory The city was covered in snow and sub zero weather with wind. The owner (and guide) for this tour (Iggy) took me on the tour - even though I was the only one. So I had a private tour. Iggy was amazing. He went to the University int he US, so his English is perfect. In addition he had an incredible waalth of knowledge of history. But it wasn't just academic knowledge. He related the events of Mongolian history to the life and culture that exists today in Mongolia. It was fascinating. He was selling to stop and let me take pictures, or stop and ride a two hump camel. The pickup was punctual.

This was an outstanding day tour. It is a good amount of activities and provides an opportunity to experience Mongolia. Our guide was Khulan. Her English skills are superb. She is a very professional guide and provides just the right amount of information and attention to details. I highly recommend this excursion.

An unforgettable day! Terelj National Park’s breathtaking landscapes, a serene Buddhist temple, and the majestic Chinggis Khan Statue were truly inspiring. Our super friendly, knowledgeable female guide made the trip special—an excellent driver too, with a very comfortable car. Lunch with a Nomadic Family was authentic and delicious. Highly recommended!

Nice day trip. The statue is cool, small museum at the base. The view from the temple is amazing, specially with the tree changing color in autumn.

Our tour guide Khulan is extremely friendly, supportive and knowledgeable. Thanks to her, we had a memorable trip and it is one of our best experiences in Mongolia. Without her, we should have been stuck in a very bad situation. No words can express our appreciation to her, having a chance meeting her is a stroke of luck. By the way, I believe the root cause of the above mentioned situation is the irresponsible answer of staff Erdene-Ochir who previously replied to me that our drop-off point was reachable, but in fact totally not, and did not even give a heads-up to our tour guide. This led to an unpredictable consequence, a difficult situation for both us and Khulan. If this staff did a quick check and gave me a right answer, this situation would never happen as we would choose another drop-off point. Next time, please ensure every answer is provided in a responsible way.

A beautiful national park where we were on our last day on our trip to Mongolia. At the beginning of the national park, is the equestrian monument of Chinggis Khaan, where you go up almost to head level by means of lift and steps, and to contemplate the surrounding area. We were already at lunch at our yurt camp, and after the yurt division we got our lunch. Since it was windless there and we enjoyed the sun rays for a few hours before we went further into the national park.
