Eugenio was a fantastic tour guide! He started the tour at the President's residence, through the Cathedral of Santiago, along the pedestrian shopping street of P. Estado, and ended the tour in the Bella Vista neighborhood. A perfect place to grab a bite to eat, and end a leisurely stroll through the old part of Santiago. Along the route, Eugenio provided insight into the history and culture of Santiago. Bring your walking shoes, and enjoy the tour!

I had a nice tour around Santiago's center and surrounding areas with a lot of information about Chimes and city history and the present situation.

Keep in mind we did this on a Sunday morning -- bonus that the churches were full and we heard beautiful singing during the masses. The flip side is Sunday many stores are closed, so if shopping is your thing some stores will be closed. The pace (I counted 7K steps on mostly flat terrain) was some walking followed by assembling in our small group for Eugenio to share how extensive historical knowledge. A lot of start and stop. The Bellavista area where you end Is a great place for lunch.

I had a fantastic experience on the Santiago walking tour with our guide, Eugenio. He was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the city’s history and culture to life in a really engaging way. The highlights of the tour for me were exploring the vibrant Bella Vista neighborhood and visiting Plaza de la Constitución, both of which offered great insight into Santiago’s character and history. Eugenio shared plenty of interesting stories and details that you wouldn’t get just wandering around on your own. One small suggestion would be to time the tour to coincide with the changing of the guard, as that would have been a great addition to the experience. To top it all off, I’d definitely recommend grabbing a beer at the end of the tour—it’s a perfect way to relax after a great walk and soak in the atmosphere. Overall, a 5-star experience. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Eugenio as your guide!
