What To Expect
City of Aberdeen Distillery & Gin School
With welcome drink in hand (double G&T), during this walking tour of the distillery you will learn all about Aberdeen's rich distilling heritage, how City of Aberdeen Distillery was established and uncover interesting facts about botanicals. The Head Distiller will guide you around the restricted areas of the distillery and talk about how Aberdeen Gin is made. This also includes a Q&A session. Enjoy samples of both London Dry and Fruit Gins from the range of small batch Scottish Gins - served directly from French glass demi-johns. There is also an opportunity to browse the distillery shop - if you've liked the gins you've sampled, why not treat yourself to a bottle of Aberdeen Gin from the range or even take home a 5-miniature tasting box. As the tour concludes, attendees are encouraged to explore the “botanical garden”.

5.00We recently took a corporate group to the City of Aberdeen Distillery & Gin School, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable and unique experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, Dan and Alan were brilliant hosts—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do. They gave us a great tour of the distillery, walking us through the gin-making process in a way that was both informative and fun (even for those of us who don’t usually drink gin!). Big thanks to Dan and Alan for such a great experience. We’d absolutely recommend it to any other company looking to do something a bit different!

5.00I had the most wonderful time at the City of Aberdeen Distillery. I did the discovery tour and it was wonderful. I wish I was there longer so I could have done the other tours because they sounded great. Alan and Dan were so welcoming and had a wealth of knowledge and made the whole experience so much fun.

5.00We arrived at the Distillery and got a very warm welcome from Dan. We also got a delicious double gin and tonic. For those who were driving, there was non alcoholic refreshments. A verbal tour of historical Aberdeen distilleries then a look through the premises and a lesson on how gin is made. All the while made incredibly interesting by Alan whose knowledge is simply awesome! Then a taste of all the different gins. My goodness me. What's not to love? A wonderful stock of great items to take home or to use as gifts at very reasonable prices. Thoroughly recommend.
