We offer you the chance to learn about and meet our native breed of cattle and have a Beef lunch at a working Highland Cow Farm.

Enjoy a tasting tour at The Royal Lochnagar or The Glen Garioch Distillery, both produce a world class single malt Scotch.

Balmoral Castle is an option instead of the distillery (subject to seasonal opening times).

All tours can be tailored to suit and the farm and distillery are subject to seasonal opening times and require advance booking. Please contact us for details.

Castles are free to visit, but charge for interior tours. Dunnottar can be seen in its full glory from near the car park. To go inside involves a long staircase.

Dunnottar Castle

Dunnottar Castle is one of the world's most iconic castles, impregnably built on a sheer headland, just south of Aberdeen. It features 1400 years of history and the Vikings and William Wallace (Braveheart) fought battles here. Free to see from outside but charges for internal tours.

Crathes Castle, Garden & Estate

Fascinating 16th Century Castle with turrets, gargoyles, 16th-century painted ceilings and ancient, great yew hedges and walled gardens set in magnificent surroundings. Castle is free to see from outside but charges for internal tours.
