5.00What a great experience for my girlfriend and me! We took a snowmobile carrying us on a sled to our destination, which was a lot of fun. We enjoyed our time on this tour. The Sami reindeer herder, Lars was wonderful and let us know so much about the culture. Afterwards, Jesus sent us professional and very high-quality pictures of our experience. I highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed!

5.00This was a wonderful way to learn about Sámi reindeer herding culture and heritage, from a Sámi herder himself, whose family has been doing this for generations. We were able to closely observe reindeer in their natural habitat and enjoy stories and a history lesson from Lars, our reindeer herder guide, while sitting on reindeer pelts around a fire in his traditional lavvu structure. It was about a 15 minute commute from Abisko to the area where the reindeer are kept, so allowed us this wonderful experience while also keeping the rest of our day free for other tours and hiking. An additional highlight from the tour was the ride in a snowmobile-drawn sled from the Activities In Abisko base to the reindeer viewing area and lavvu. Highly recommend this 2-hour experience while you’re in Abisko!
