• Amazing statue- efficient entry sytem

  We visited the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s David and decided not to do a guided tour. Instead, we explored on our own after doing a lot of research ahead of time, which we really enjoyed because it allowed us to stroll at our own pace. I was very impressed with how organized they were with the entry lines. One important tip: do not get on the line too early before your scheduled entry time because they will not let you wait on line. I actually think this system is what keeps things moving so smoothly. We were allowed in about 10 minutes before our scheduled time. Overall, it was a very efficient and enjoyable experience. It was magnificent and a must do. You could spend as little or as much time as you prefer.

  I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Florence. I had Manuela for the English tour. Not only was she very knowledgeable on everything we toured, but you could tell she was extremely passionate about it too. Seeing pictures of Michelangelo’s David give you an idea of how impressive it is, but seeing it in person cannot be described in words or pictures.

  Lots of information… skip the line is very helpful…. Still a line, but it probably cuts three hours off of the standing and line situation… We found the tour guide, very helpful and informative…

  So much great information! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! She answered all the questions and took her time! Victoria was our guide.

  Better to book on the official website, but for someone who waited until the last minute, this was a great way to get tickets and see David and the gallery!

  Seeing the David was spectacular. It truly is amazing to think that something so detailed was carved from marble. And the other art pieces at the museum are beautiful. We really enjoyed the musical instrument room as well. Th My only complaint was the price we paid through TripAdvisor's third-party vendors, who buy up all of the very inexpensive tickets and then charge 3-4 times as much. And the taxes and exchange rates add up to make a $20 ticket $60. It is really a shame that they can purchase these large blocks of tickets and upsell them so drastically.

  There were no signs where to meet and the instructions were not clear. The only signs were for the different admission times and since the guides were late, so we ended up waiting in line. For a 1-hour tour in a way overcrowded museum it did not feel like a good value for the money.

  The tour guide was very friendly and helpful . My family and I beyond appreciated of how attentive and helpful our tour guide was. There was a long like to get into the museum but the tour guide just walked my family and I in with no problem. We felt like a celebrities .
