This tour is full of adventure and contact with nature. Our interpreter guides will provide you with the necessary equipment to explore the underground world and will explain how the caves were formed, the fauna and flora of the forest and you will be able to appreciate petroglyphs of our Taino culture. Cool off in a spring of crystal-clear waters and enjoy a beautiful beach before returning to the meeting point.

What To Expect

Our certified biologists or interpreter guides will offer you a great educational adventure. At the established time our transporter will pick you up at the meeting point in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. About an hour will arrive at the area where one of our guides will greet you, give you the necessary protective equipment for cave exploration (helmet and lamp) and explain the tour agenda and safety rules. You will walk 25 minutes along a path inside the forest, where the interpreter guide will explain the ecological importance of the Karst forest and arrive at the cave, habitat of an important population of bats and fauna. There you will learn about the importance of caves in the Taino Culture and observe petroglyphs on its walls. In addition, you will learn about the formations, stalactites and stalagmites, created by minerals and water through the limestone rock where the caves are formed. We will continue our tour and visit a spring of crystal-clear waters where you can cool off. We will return to the car to have lunch and arrive at a paradisiacal beach where you can dive into its refreshing waters. Return to the meeting point.

10/5 stars - Albert was incredibly kind, helpful and taught us so much regarding Puerto Rico and the tour! I felt safe the entire trip, his communication was excellent and we always knew what was to be expected around every bend. The tour itself was the perfect amount of adventure for someone who doesn’t love living on the edge - absolutely worth seeing the caves!!! Life vests, headlamps, and waters are all supplied. We found Albert through a recommendation and boy did he not disappoint. Cuevas de los culebrones is a private reserve that Albert has the pleasure of doing tours on. At dusk the bat begin to exit the caves in large amounts. They are met with Puerto Rican boas hanging from the vines to hunt. It is an amazing sight! Albert knew all about the different types of bats and bat behavior. He was well prepared and brought us helmets, red light flashlights, water and snacks. What a great experience! I don’t know anywhere else where you can experience this level of amazing natural habitat. Thank you Albert! It was the highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico!

I would definitely say Albert one of the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I went with my brother and he showed us the caves and some of the beaches. They were all so beautiful and he is very informative, he showed us different plant species and telling us about the caves and animal species native to the caves. Had a super awesome time would definitely recommend. I would say if u get sunburn easily definitely bring sunscreen and shoe that are good for walking and would definitely say u have to be moderately active because their is a bit of climbing up and down.
Great day adventure, from hiking, caves, swimming and beaches.

Albert was great. We went saw birds, snakes, spiders plus birds. The hike and cave were good. The spring swim and the beaches were excellent as was our meal. Recommend.

This was truly a wonderful adventure. I liked that it was private and small. The caves were wonderful and Albert was truly a great tour guide and person. He and Julio the driver went above and beyond for us. Everything we did made it a Memorable day. Would highly recommend them for a tour!
