Espiritu Santo Island is an incredible paradise that you will never forget!
The experience of swimming with sea lions is very nice, they are playful and they usually come close to interact with the swimmers.
(During the months of June, July, and August, swimming with sea lions in their rookery is not allowed, so we just see them from the boat and snorkel and/or hike at another site of the island)
We always try to take our clients to the beaches where there are less people, so that they get a unique experience with the feeling of adventure that we like so much.
Finally, learning about the history of the ancient settlers, the fauna and flora of the area, the current lifestyle of the locals, and being accompanied by marine biologist guides will make your day a very enriching one.
It can only be visited on boats with permits and certified guides.

What To Expect
Snorkel with friendly sea lions at Los Islotes (colony of over 600 sea lions). During June, July, and August (reproductive season) we snorkel at other sites, like rocky reefs that hopefully also have sea lions! Lunch on a sandy beach and turquoise water of the island (shade, benches, towels, ceviche, chips, water, and soda) Visit to points of interest on the island (abandoned pearl farm, mangroves, rock formations, and bird colonies). Chance to see dolphins, whales, and/or manta rays (mobulas).

5.00The staff was very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. The boat was comfortable and got us to the island quickly. Snorkeling with Sea Lions and the coral reefs was beyond expectations. Lunch on a quiet beach was also exceptional. A must do, when visiting La Paz.

5.00My partner and I booked the tour and it was the best experience we had in Mexico. The whole trip was expertly run, Martin our captain was brilliant as well as our guide. They were very respectful of all the animals we came across and made sure we were too. Our group had mixed abilities snorkelling but our guide made sure we were all safe and okay at all times. Cannot recommend them enough, an amazing experiance. With our group being small you were well looked after compared to some of the large tours that we saw with people left lagging behind or getting lost etc. Make sure you bring a wind proof coat and jumper in December as you will get cold travelling between spots.

5.00This was an incredible trip, loaded with wildlife sightings….several humpbacks (moms and calves), dolphins, sea birds ( boobies, frigate birds), and of course the sea lions. So playful. Could have stayed either way them all day. Guide and captain kept us very safe and well fed during g the beach stop over. Snorkeling before lunch along the shore yielded an octopus among other colorful and charismatic critters. Highly recommend doing this tour.

5.00Omar and Christian were fantastic guides! I expected to like this tour but then I LOVED it, had such a magical time swimming with the baby sea lions in a cave. Ceviche lunch and the beach we stopped at were wonderful as well.

5.00The Espírito Santo Tour was absolute madness. Not only was swimming with the sea lions beautiful, we were also surprised by humpback whales. What an experience. Also the small wonderful beach where there was then delicious Ceviche was awesome. Dani our guide is also a great guy. It was an outstanding day.

5.00Great experience from start to finish. Appreciated the Guide's knowledge and teaching about the sea lions, other marine life, description and history of the area. Nice balanced itinerary. Group size (8) was just right. Pretty good value for family of 5. Would recommend to others. Captain Christian and Guide Omar did a great job - they were welcoming, reassuring, flexible and ensured everything went smoothly.

5.00Incredible experience. Mateo is a super knowledgeable guide who is very passionate about marine ecosystems and wildlife, always very happy to answer any questions. The boat was prepared with everything we needed and the experience of snorkeling so close to the sea lions was incredible. Espiritu Santo island is beautiful and the crew prepared some amazing ceviche. Would definitely take this tour again or any other tours with this fantastic group.
