What To Expect
Passau
The boat travels downstream from the old town of Passau. From the boat you can see famous sights such as St. Stephen's Cathedral, Passau Town Hall and the Three Rivers Corner, where the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers flow together. The boat trip continues across the Austrian border to the small Danube market town of Kasten.

3.00The food was very good, the staff very understanding and attentive. The ship is beautiful. It would be nice if the smoking on the ship was designed in such a way that people who want to be outdoors and breathe FRESH AIR can also get it. On my tour, the smoke moved into the toilet area. I think that's such a shame. No crystal compensates for the lack of fresh air. Of course, it always depends on the passengers whether the air is good or not. But it should not be a lottery game, it should be regulated in such a way that people in their basic need for fresh air are perceived and protected accordingly.

3.00Asked for English tour. It was in German with a boomlet in English that you were supposed to read. You can’t read and take photos and you don’t know what to read if you don’t understand German.

3.00the crystal ship is by design a river cruiser with cabinless superstructure. upperdeck unfortunately without sun protection - at 30C and sun rather poor. little but well-worded information about the track, historical and POI's - very pleasant. Service on board business friendly, prices fine. on the banks unfortunately not very interesting but good trip to relax - for 21€ pP in order.

4.00I found the ride a bit boring because it is not a round trip and because the first part is wooded to the left and right of the Danube. Thus, there is little variety, especially in the first and last part of the ride.

3.00The ship itself is really nice and also worth the trip on an overcast day. However - and this is really the reason for this review - the staff, could be friendlier and really more attentive from the point of view of serving. The waiting time is really incredibly long for both ordering to receiving the order or even paying. Now that I would like to suggest rethinking the concept, e.g. in self-service. But being friendly - is free and really shouldn't be an issue. People come and leave their money there when it suits.

5.00It is fascinating how many crystals are installed in this ship. During the drive you get a lot of information about the area and where you are passing. You could clearly understand everything. The service was really nice and value for money is also right here.

Our Lord, Allessandro was the VERY BEST. only the music was unfortunately only for very young people and not for us, we would also have loved to dance, but this Hauruck music was unfortunately not dismissed.
