Kochi was the first European colony in India and there are nearly 30 different communities and 16 different languages in the area, During this tour our group of local experts will helps you to experience some of them and also other important landmarks like Chinese fishing nets , St Francis church,Dutch Palace, Jewish synagogue, Jain and Balaji temples etc. we will also visit some hidden gems like Dhobhi Khana (Local laundry),Ginger ware house(packing/drying of spices), and some womens cooperatives (Pappadam making, candle making,inscents making etc) to experience the life of people.

5.00We had an amazing tuk-tuk tour with Thouseef! He is incredibly nice, friendly, and made us feel welcome from the very start. It was such a special experience having a local show us around and share his knowledge of the area. He truly went out of his way to help us find exactly what we were looking for, including singing bowls and drums, which made the experience even more personal and memorable. On top of that, he has such a great eye for photos and helped us capture beautiful moments along the way. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—highly recommended!

5.00The Tuk Tuk tour itself and the driver were great. The tour went as advertised and was most enjoyable. Thank you to our driver, Thouseef. However, the Viator site and coordination with the operator left something to be desired. We wanted a pickup from the Cruise port and selected this on the Viator site. However, the operator insisted that we should have booked through a listing that specifically said pick up from the Cruise port. I had looked for that but I could not find that option on the Viator site. The day before the tour I got a message saying that they needed us to make our way to a hotel for pickup. Not being familiar with Cochin and having a same day cruise departure I pushed back. After some back and forth with the operator and Viator, I made an arrangement with the operator to pay some extra to the operator to have a pickup at the cruise port. There appears to be room for misunderstanding for bookings through Viator. In truth, there is a bit of blame on all sides for the mix-up. However, I expected the Viator site to not allow for these types of mix-ups to occur.
