Glide through the forest on this unique zipline canopy tour and experience Coromandel's breath-taking native forest from all levels, as you fly above the trees and walk beneath the ferns. Our knowledgeable guides will lead you on an unforgettable journey, to learn about Driving Creek’s transformation from kauri logging, gold-mining and pastural farming, into a lush hand planted native forest, a haven for regenerating kauri trees and kiwi. Two of our expert guides will greet and outfit you with the safety equipment you will need for the journey. A spectacular 18 minute train ride will take you up New Zealand’s only mountain railway to the start of your Ziplining experience. Your two friendly guides will then lead you along eight ziplines, which span 705 meters through trees and across gullies and streams, to experience New Zealand’s native trees and birds, including our largest tree species, the Kauri.

The staff is amazing! We had an amazing group and we enjoyed every part of this experience. They provided rain jackets and took photos. Our kids loved it and as a family this was one of our highlights. You cannot take your phone with you but we took a GoPro. The only thing I wished was that it was longer 😂

I would highly recommend this. I’ve never done zip lining before, and at the age of 50 something, was nervous as well as excited. I was lucky enough to be the only client on my tour, which meant a faster tour. My guides Luke and Kukewei (apologies if misspelled) were lovely, informative, entertaining and professional. They took great care of me, were encouraging and enthusiastic. I loved it! I’m now planning to do more zip lining.

Myself and whanau had a blast. The tour story was amazing and the unexpected train ride up made us feel VIP. It was our kids first ziplining experience and they raved about it for days. Thank you.

It was raining a lot. But that did not stop our enjoyment at all! What a great fun activity. Expertly managed, well guided, great attention to detail and safety and good history along the way. Our guides (Luke and Ella) were so engaging and fun. Thoroughly recommend, even in the rain. The train ride was the icing on the cake 🧁 Thank you

Huge morning of fun. Plenty of safety checks before we set off, and during the morning. Felt very safe even tried striking poses as we went down the lines. We are both 60+ ! Great instructors told us about the aims and work to improve the natural environment. Fun and informative visit. One of the highlights of our NZ trip.

What a great experience it was to go ziplining through the Coromandel hilltops. The gals, (Susie and Hannah), were not only friendly and accommodating, the history teacher in me ABSOLUTELY loved the education provided about the silver fern and the back story about the zipline. In addition to the backstory about the zipline, teaching tourist like ourselves about the bitter sweet history of the area was very much appreciated and eye awakening. The zipline activity itself was not only amazing, to know that in some way as a tourist we are giving back to the community of Coromandel made me feel like I was able to contribute to their community. Moreover, learning about the flora and fauna of the area as we went along made me soak up the views knowing what Iʻm looking at even more. LOVED it! I would 100% recommend it to anyone visiting Aotearoa.
