Join us on a wonderful afternoon wine tour starting from Tours or Amboise, and discover the local wines of the Touraine region.
As a small group of up to 8 people, you'll visit two wine estates in the Touraine "appellation" area with your local expert guide.
We will take you through the vineyards and the wineries, providing insights into the 'terroir' and the art of winemaking. You'll have the chance to taste a large variety of sparkling, white, rosé and red wines from the region, made with many grape varieties (Chenin, Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet, Gamay,…), accompanied by cheeses and charcuterie specialties from the region (rillettes, rillons, …)
Throughout the transfers between locations, you'll have the opportunity to admire the beautiful Loire landscapes through the windows of our comfortable chauffeured Mercedes minivan.

What To Expect
Touraine
Visit a vineyard in Touraine, learn about 'terroir', and enjoy a tasting of sparkling, red and white wines (at least 5 wines), paired with local charcuterie.
Clos Roussely
Tour of the wine cellar and winery, tasting showcasing the diversity of wines from sparkling to still, dry to sweet (at least 6 wines) paired with local cheeses.

5.00We had a fantastic time on this half day wine tour! Our guide, Sophia, was charming and knowledgeable and provided great information about the Vouvray appellation. The first tasting was in a small, family owned wine cave with several good sparkling and white wines. Such a fun experience! The second stop was in a more modern tasting room where Sophia picked out a variety or wines from all over the Loire Valley for us to try. The cheese and meats provided during the tastings were the perfect pairings for our wines and were such a lovely touch. We could not have created an experience like this on our own and we are so glad we opted for the tour. Highly recommend!

5.00We had an amazing time! Pierre was the best guide. Even though it was a Sunday, he took us to two amazing wineries and we learned a lot about the history of the region and the process of making wine. We had great discussions and it was the highlight of our trip!
