Join us on a wonderful afternoon wine tour starting from Tours or Amboise, and discover the local wines of the Touraine region.
As a small group of up to 8 people, you'll visit two wine estates in the Touraine "appellation" area with your local expert guide.
He will take you through the vineyards and the wineries, providing insights into the geography, terroir, and the art of winemaking. You'll have the chance to taste a large variety of red, white, rosé and sparkling wines from the region, made with many grape varieties (Chenin, Malbec, Cabernet, Gamay, Grolleau,…), accompanied by cheeses and charcuterie specialties from the region (rillettes, rillons, …)
Throughout the transfers between locations, you'll have the opportunity to admire the beautiful Loire landscapes through the windows of our comfortable chauffeured Mercedes minivan.

Company missed our booking, but makeup tour was excellent!

3.0Our tour was scheduled for 2pm on a Friday, but when we showed up at the pickup location, we waited 15 minutes past and then called. We were told that an “email malfunction” between Viator and the company resulted in our booking being lost, though they were able to see our booking when they looked into Viator from their end. They offered to reschedule for the next day, so we canceled other plans and accepted. This error by the company was very frustrating, and it caused us to miss other activities that we were excited for. All that being said, when we went on the tour the next day, it was absolutely fantastic. Our guide, Pierre, was extremely kind, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable about the wine as well as the history behind the region. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the tour, and if it weren’t for the booking mishap, this would be an easy 5 star rating.

5.0This was an incredible tour with a FANTASTIC guide - knowledgeable, passionate, friendly, made such a wonderful experience. This was not an experience we could have created on our own and are so happy we booked this tour, it was a highlight of our visit. Cannot recommend enough.

5.0Vincent was wonderful. His passion for wine making made the experience. His pairing of cheeses to go with the wines we tasted in the cave, brought out the nuances in the wine. I’d highly recommend the tour!

5.0This tour was not what i expected. Simon did a phenomenal job. Took us the scenic route to pick up a couple that was in group. Borh wine experiences where bery nice but the Chateau winery was my favorite. New the wines to a T, full of information.
