Delicious and substantial afternoon tea with wraps and sandwiches. Scones and sweet treats. Interesting history bites as you travel.

  • Avoid - only out table was cancelled while we waited on the bus!

AVOID - I booked VintageTeaTrips as a surprise for 4 members of my family for my sisters hen party. I made the booking in August for 22.11.25 and got the reminder email for the tour on Wednesday. We arrived into town yesterday afternoon for the tour and 30 minutes before it was due to depart I got a call from Sharon with VintageTeaTrips to say that she had some bad news and that there was an incident and that only our table could not be used. When I asked for more information on this she said the table was damaged and would get more info&when she called back she said someone had vomited on the table and that the last tour had to finish up early but now only our table was affected. She repeatedly said "I don't know what else to say to you", spoke over me while I talked and the only thing she could offer was to rebook us for next week, which is completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, when the bus arrived I asked a staff member if there was something wrong with the bus as we were told we no longer had our booking after making the journey to town for it and he had no idea what I was talking about. My sister had wanted to do this tour for so long and it was supposed to be a special surprise for her Hen Party and we had planned our day around it but due to the unprofessionalism and absolute disregard for customers who pay a lot of money to do this tour, we will not be rebooking and we would advise others to also avoid.

I recently had a 22-hour layover in Dublin and decided to make the most of it since I'd never been to Ireland. I Googled "things to do in Dublin in the afternoon" and this delightful tour came up. I'm so glad I decided to take this "sweet" tour--it was perfect! A great amount of delectable bites and tasty warm beverages served by equally warm, attentive and lovely people. Alex and Sheena never stopped offering to refill beverages throughout the entire time. The homemade scones were a delectable touch, and "to-go" boxes were offered to take what we couldn't finish. Adam, our "mc" was the cherry on top as he narrated the tour with knowledge, energy and humor. I cannot say enough about this tour and highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their fill of treats mixed in with a fun and informative taste of Dublin history.

Come hungry!! Very fun and upbeat. You will get a good overview of the city. There is not a guide talking the whole time, but there are good highlights and some history pointed out along the way. You will feel extremely welcome and cared for. Fun interaction with hosts.

What a fun way to see Dublin! I loved combining afternoon tea and a bus tour. The price was right as well. We had a group of 3 ranging in age from 54yrs to 82yrs and it was a wonderful way for my Mom to get to see some of the highlights without having to walk. I really enjoyed the food and the tea. It was a nice mix of savory and sweet and we were more than full. Our guides and driver were great and service was spot on. I recommend this tour as something a bit unique and a fun lunch!

Lovely way to see some of the sights of Dublin. We were on the upper level of this vintage bus and had a good view of the sights spoken about. The staff on the bus could not do more to enhance the experience. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour.
