What To Expect

Not exactly a morning person? This is the snorkel trip for you. With an afternoon departure time, and duration of 3.5 hours you can take the morning to relax then hop on the boat and do some of Maui’s best snorkeling. Once on board the captain and crew will take you to one of West Maui's most popular snorkeling locations (depending on conditions). Here you’ll likely be up close and personal with the resident Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, colorful tropical fish, beautiful coral reef and many other surprises depending on the day. Pupus (appetizers) and an open bar are included! The perfect way to spend the afternoon and not have to wake up early or spend 5 hours on the boat, plus we'll have you back before dinner!

When you sign up for a SeaMaui trip, you and your family will experience a true adventure! You will start your trip with a unique on-the-beach boarding experience. Dip your toes in the water with the guidance of the knowledgeable crew and board the catamaran. Next, enjoy scenic views of the island like never before. We saw a pod of wild dolphins and giant sea turtles! And this was before snorkeling. At your snorkel destination, we enjoyed well maintained equipment to see all the beautiful marine life. With an hour + in the water, we had ample time to enjoy the views and sun! On the way back, the crew facilitated an open bar and a delectable lunch. The crew was amazing. The experience was even better.

The crew was very attentive and kept a close eye on the people in the water at all times. The food and drinks were very good. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui.

It's a one hour boat ride to the snorkeling location and it's a pretty windy trip. Make sure your hats are secure. The snorkeling was fine, clear water, saw some fish, coral reef and finally, towards the end, saw a turtle. Kind of a bummer, would like to have seen a lot more sea life. I wonder if snorkeling at Molokini Crater is better. Food on board was decent, sliders, breaded chicken strips and a couple salads. The open bar doesn't open until after you're done snorkeling.

The guide was terrific and the hike was beautiful. We all thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. Hikers should be advised to shoes that can get wet and be worn crossing streams.
