Driver was late but did arrive and apologise. He was friendly and welcoming and gave us information as we drove around. We stopped for photos at the mosque - but no detail was given about its history and you only see outside. We stopped for photos at the fort - again no information was given and we relied on the photo board and a local guy who chatted to us by chance, telling us about the marina and fishing trade. We went to the argan oil stop and were briefly greeted before being shown a 4 minute film which was sales briefing...then ushered downstairs to see a machine, with no explanation or time for questions and then into a selling room ((where we asked to be quiet and listen) for a very rushed sales talk of what we could buy. It felt so hastey and as if we only there to sell to. We didn't get shown any of the before products or techniques to make oil even though there were baskets etc around. It was very disappointing. We were then offered to be taken to a different souk (a gorgeous 4 storey buildingn) that sells ceramics etc which most of the group wanted. I felt this was a commission stop - the building was lovely though but there was no souk atmosphere. We were then asked if we wanted to go back to our hotels or the main souk - we asked for the souk. We were given option of 30 mins or an hour...half the group wanted half hour so that was what agreed. Sadly it gave no time to explore fully - and all said they wish they had had longer. You definitely need longer. There is so much to see and such a great atmosphere ...and I'd love to have had a mint tea and watch the people for a while. Im glad we did this peep at agadir but am disappointed that we didn't have more time proper at the souk ...and whilst yanis was a lovely guy I did feel I was be guided to commissions at the argan oil shop and ceramic souk! I have to say I dont think the others felt this way - and maybe I am just cynical, but I hoped for more souk!!

Fantastic tour of Agadir. We have a new appreciation for this modern city. Great guide, great transportation, the right amount of free time at each stop. Easy pickup and convenient drop off.

It was easy to book and tour company were very accommodating with pick up and timings. The tour itself was very tedious. We were take. to the Kasbah where we were harassed by the sellers. The argon oil stop went on too long. We were there an hour when we only need 5 mins. Souk you are better without a guide as the guide just takes you to the stalls he gets commission. We missed our transfer back to hotel so had to pay another 20 euros on top of our tour expenses to get back. In summary youre better taking a taxi around the town and ask chat gpt to tell you information about the key sites.

The guided tour felt focused on selling stuff at arranged stops ( argan factory and souk ) at very high prices , the driver was very chatty and spoke a mixture of French and English which was not great … had to wait half hour to be picked up from souk

Our driver, Younes, picked us up on time and was very knowledgeable about Agadir. This is a great value for money city guide with a drive past the Marina, a stop at the Mosque to take pictures, a stop at the Argan Oil cooperative where we bought some gorgeous smelling oil and cream. Then a drive through the old city with Younes pointing out all different areas along the way. We spent about an hour walking around the Souk before going to the Kasbah on top of the hill. There was just 4 of us on the trip and Younes was brilliant and fun too.
