  Overall Review: We overall had a good day, with some memorable highlights, but also a few frustrations that made it harder for our group—especially with young children. The Highlights: Camels: A fun 15-minute ride. Quads: Great experience, lasting about 50–60 minutes. Food: Absolutely delicious. Guide: Samira, our guide, was friendly and helpful. Group size: Nice and manageable at around 14 people. The Not-So-Good: We were told the experience would be suitable for babies and toddlers, but we would strongly disagree. Our group was made up of 4 adults, two 7-year-olds, a 2-year-old, and a 1-year-old, and the day was far too long and disjointed for little ones. The main issues were with timing: We booked a 4 pm departure. At 00:11 on the morning of the trip, we received a message saying collection would be at 14:25. We queried this, as we had two children who needed afternoon naps, and were then told 15:20 instead. After being picked up, we stopped at an argan oil factory, then went to the camels (minimal wait), but after that there was a 1 hour 15 minute wait before the quads. Safety of the helmets—especially for children—was not up to UK standards. Dinner was served around 8:30 pm. While the meal was excellent, we missed the end of the fire show but were told there would be another. At 9:45 pm we asked again and were told it would start after the last table finished eating—another 30–40 minutes away. By this point, the toddlers had reached their limit, so we decided to skip it. The return trip to our hotel took 50 minutes, and we didn’t get back until 10:45 pm. For reference, Viator advertised a 9 pm finish, the booking said closer to 10 pm, and on pick-up we were told around 10:20 pm—but in reality, it was much later. We understand that timings can be flexible, but this day ran far longer than expected—especially challenging with two very young children.

  Our family had an absolutely unforgettable evening in the Agafay Desert, and it was all thanks to our incredible tour guide, Rabiaa. From the moment we met her, she made us feel completely at ease — warm, friendly, and with a brilliant sense of humour that had both my husband and me laughing, and our 7-year-old son totally engaged. The quad biking through the desert was exhilarating, and Rabiaa made sure we felt safe while still having loads of fun. The camel ride was magical — the colours of the sky were breathtaking, and she shared so many fascinating insights about the desert, its history, and culture along the way. She had such a natural way of making it educational which we loved. Dinner and the fire show were the perfect ending — delicious food, lively music, and a joyful atmosphere. Rabiaa was attentive throughout, checking we were comfortable and happy. As a mother, I especially appreciated how patient and engaging she was with our son, making the whole experience even more special for him. This tour far exceeded our expectations. Rabiaa was superb — funny, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what she does. It was wonderful to experience the beauty of the Agafay Desert. Thank you Rabiaa for making our time with you so memorable. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!

  As soon as we arrived, everything was perfectly organized and the Welcoming warm. Our Ouiam guide was absolutely amazing: caring, smiling and passionate about his work. She made the day even more magical thanks to her explanations and positive energy. The quad bike in the desert was sensational, with breathtaking scenery. The camel ride was a unique and peaceful experience, ideal for enjoying the sunset. The typical meal was delicious, and the show that followed immersed us in the local culture with music, dance and friendly Mood. Thanks again to Ouiam and the whole team for a perfect day. I recommend 100% this excursion to live an authentic and memorable moment!
