What To Expect
f you have just 1 day in Marrakesh don’t lose the opportunity to live a desert ambient for few ours. Our afternoon trip drives us to the west of Marrakesh , the route is shaded by lush vegetation, olive and orange orchards past the occasional village Off Ait Imour then to off road, the scenery is completely different – a stone desert, barren light brown plateaux.

5.00Nice and courteous driver, good car. The camel experience was fun. They dressed us in some nice traditional clothing, very photogenic. The camels seemed taken care of and the place was clean.

5.00My husband and I did not receive the private camel ride that was advertised. There was really nothing our driver, Walid, could do since he is not the tour operator. I notified Morocco Desert Trips via WhatsApp after the camel ride was over that we had not received the experience that we had paid for. The person I spoke with, Mr. Said, responded promptly and apologized. I told him I thought I should be partially reimbursed (a private camel ride is much more expensive than the group tour). He responded by asking me how much I thought I should be refunded. I stated the amount and he agreed. Walid hand delivered the MADs to our hotel the next day. Honestly, I was surprised. I have a lot of respect for the tour operator to acknowledge we did not receive what we paid for and refund some of our money. I don't really know how the mixup took place but I would definitely use them again. At the very least, they are honest and respectful toward their customers.

5.00This was a very professional service. Abdul, our driver picked us up from our Airbnb at exactly prescribed time of 4 PM. We were taken in a clean minivan to the desert, which is one hour from the plaza in Marrakesh. Upon arrival, we were greeted by warm Moroccan mint tea and loaded onto camels. The camels walk us through the beautiful desert for nearly an hour with perfectly timed views of the sunset. The camel guide was very generous and took multiple pictures. After sunset, we were escorted back to the base camp, where the driver for waiting for us and we reached Marrakesh back at 8 PM. Each and every person involved in this tour was very courteous, timely and professional. Would highly recommend for families.

5.00We had a wonderful excursion to the Afgay desert with Yassin. Not only did we get to partake in a private Camel ride at sunset but also had the opportunity to stop off mid journey to a house where Argan oil is made (very natural and even got to help turn the nuts to press the oil). I would recommend this booking and we were lucky to have such a great guide - Yassin - who made the trip extra special. Highly recommend !

5.00Said the owener was the best! He was very patient with us as we had to change our start day and time a few times due to travel mishaps. His communications was excellent. They picked us up and dropped off at our hotel. Our guide (forget his name) was a very nice young man who played local music on the radio to make the experience so much more fun when driving thru the desert. The camel ride was fun and the owner was a very friendly man who you coiuld tell took care and loved his camels. i highly recommend.

5.00We had a great experience and we’re so glad we booked with this company over the other others. We were picked up promptly at the agreed-upon time and we were brought to the desert after about 45 minute drive from the city. We offroaded for about 30 minutes into the desert far from the other tourist groups and that set this tour apart from the rest. Me and my husband got to experience about an hour long camel ride just the two of us with our guide who took awesome pictures for us and made sure that we were happy the whole way. The driver, Siad, was extremely personable and warm and we had a great time over tea at the end of the Camel ride, talking politics and exchanging cultural notes. I highly recommend this trip if you don’t want to be in a larger group and want a personalized experience. worth every penny.
