Ahhh...Ras Natango Gallery and Garden
Ahhh Ras Natango is a tropical retreat comprising a gallery and botanical garden atop the hills overlooking Montego Bay. The gallery features work by resident self-taught and formally-trained artists – Ras Natango, Tamika and Ayale. The gift shop in keeping with the property’s ambiance, is named appropriately, Ahhh…Treasures because of the unique items found in it. It’s a continuation of the gallery with artistic gift items. Hand painted cushion covers, hand painted bags, hats, paper weights, and many more items. The gift shop also houses an assemblage of sea shells collected on the beach to make one-of-a-kind sea creatures. There is treasure for everyone to discover. The garden is home to more than 50 species of fern, unusual floral plants and beautiful trees in themed sections. There two sections - the Fairy’s Village, and a Dinosaur Era garden which includes plants that are endemic to Jamaica. The gardens are popular for weddings.

5.00There were 9 of us in our group, including Grandma! The owners and there son were simply amazing, and patient ensuring that Grandma was able to experience this tour too! (This was her bucket list item.) The knowledge of the plants in this garden was extensive and eduational. The hummingbirds were great!!! Grandma thouroughly enjoyed feeding them! The "mini gardens" I will call them for the kids was extremely creative. We would 100% recommend booking this tour! And we would recommend requesting Carlos to be your driver!

5.00wow wow wow, ahhh ras nantango was so mesmerizing, we had to go twice. truly a stunningly unique experience. the terraced garden is abundant with blooming flowers, breathtaking views, countless jamaican birds and hummingbirds (who are full of personality and will perch to feed from your hand!)and unique art. though our trips were only a couple weeks apart, we had a new experience as the garden blooms were so different. ras, tamika, ayala open their home with such incredible hospitality, full of knowledge of the land and the beings living on it. we enjoyed engaging and informative garden tours from marcia & ras. also, seeing ras nantango's gallery is a m u s t. the artwork is so captivating, so profound, so full of life. also got some beautiful hand crafted gifts at the giftshop. after the tour, they allow you to just chill in the garden, and take in all the beauty. very meditative and serene. all in all, this was one of the
