What To Expect
When you exit Customs & Quarantine please look for our arrivals desk on your left as you pass through the exit hall. Our driver or tour guide will be there with your name on a whiteboard or on a sheet of paper. After confirming your transfers details, our staff will give you a chilled bottle of Vanuatu water and local shell necklace. If you miss our rep, just ask at Air Vanuatu’s service desk or Virgin’s office at the airport for Atmosphere or call us. In any event our bus(es) will be outside in the terminal car park – our buses bear the distinctive Atmosphere signage (see product photo for image of our bus).

5.00After our flight was delayed by almost 4 hours, we were stressed that we had missed our transport. As we came through customs, there was a welcoming staff member with our name on a large print list of passengers they were waiting for. It was such a relief. They were welcoming both to the country and their service.

5.00We are a family of six and had an amazing experience with Dennis and Justin during our trip. Justin was our tour guide for the Round Island Tour, and Dennis guided us on the Pele Island Tour. Both tours were exceptionally well organised and enjoyable. We also tried other local tour services during our stay, but Dennis and Justin truly stood out. They are warm, courteous, and always willing to help—going above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and happy. Our kids had a fantastic time with them, which made the experience even more special for our whole family. Their patience, friendliness, and genuine care made the tours unforgettable. Thank you, Dennis and Justin, for creating such wonderful memories for our family. We highly recommend them to anyone visiting the area!

1.00I collected my luggage upon arrival at the airport and was direct by Atmosphere to a bus for transfer to my hotel. I handed my luggage off to Atmosphere staff standing right behind the van to be loaded in to the luggage trailer at the back of the van. The van dropped guests off at 4 separate hotels before arriving at my hotel. at this time it became apparent that my luggage was missing. I spent the next 2 hours retracing the previous drop off hotels with the driver and my luggage was nowhere to be found. I arrived back at my hotel at 8pm with no luggage, no toiletries etc. The following day, the lovely staff at the hotel followed up with Atmosphere continuously all day for updates on their search to find my luggage with no good news. At about 5pm that day, hotel staff threatened police involvement and miraculously my luggage was found within the hour. It is my opinion that they hadn't bothered even looking properly for my luggage all day. Apparently, it had in fact been loaded off the van and dropped at one of the 4 hotels we stopped at on route to my hotel. In the meantime, I had gone to town to purchase clothes, toiletries etc to begin my holiday. None of this is covered by my travel insurance unfortunately and I have followed up for compensation or even an apology from Atmosphere and am in direct contact with the owner but have not even received a reply email. Would never recommend this company if this is how they treat their guests when they've made a monumental error and I suggest a better system than simply relying on the driver to remember which luggage should be unloaded at each hotel. it is destined for errors to occur.
I suggest trying another transportation company.

1.00We arrived at the airport and found the white board used by Atmosphere to identify guests being transferred to a variety of resorts. Our transfer was included in our package; but our name was not on the sheet of paper for our resort. The Atmosphere representative did nothing to rectify the situation except to point us in the direction of the taxi stand. We paid 2,000 Vanuatu Dollars to get to our resort. Upon arrival at our resort, the receptionist confirmed that we should have been on Atmosphere’s list for the transfer. Very stressful and unnecessary. .

5.00Our travel package arranged our resort transfers through Atmosphere. They were on time, bud was comfortable and air conditioned and accommodated approx 20 persons. Tip - if you’re doing currency exchange at the airport, move around the corner past duty free and security to the other exchange booths so you don’t get held up in line waiting like we did. The driver waited for us so patiently but it was no trouble luckily. We also would have needed a child car seat for our child as we would in Aus. We did request this upon booking but it didn’t follow through, but all arrived safely at the end.
