5.00Our guide was great, gave us a ton of information. He was enthusiastic and accommodating. He is French and did a great job explaining things. If i was to say any negatives some Americans might not have been able to understand him. He gave us 100% of his best.

2.00Our Tour Guide met us on time at a museum and that was the highlight of our tour. He provided no historical information and seemed preoccupied with asking us if we wanted to stop for coffee or lunch during a 3 hour tour, when we had just eaten. When asked about the fortress he really couldn’t provide any historical data or dates. He literally didn’t have any historical facts. We ended our tour early because we weren’t going to see anything else and had decided not to go to the caves. I felt at a loss when I saw other groups being given the history of the cathedral and we received nothing but this is the cathedral. Sadly, I cannot recommend this guide at all and fee like I threw away a lot of money.

5.00We had the chance to join the group of the day to participate in the tour of the citadel organized by the tourist office of Ajaccio. 2 hours of stories very well told by Pierre André. We started from the creation of the city of Ajaccio to World War II. I'm not telling you more so as not to deflower this visit. We highly recommend it Thank you to the city of Ajaccio for giving permission for this unusual visit which is impossible individually.

5.00Nicolette was a wonderful guide. We toured the Citadel, the market a many shops streets. She was full of knowledge and loved her town. It seemed everywhere we went, she knew people. Highly recommend.

1.00We expected to learn a lot from a knowledgeable guide of all the interests in this city. But what we got was merely a walking companion. We learned absolutely nothing at all about the areas we visited. We started off in the market, walked by N Bonapartes' house, to a cathedral, to the beach and finally to the Citadelle. That was it!! I asked her on the main street as to what her plan was...she replied. "I don't have a plan" Incredible. Just as one example....we actually passed by the house where Napolean Bonaparte was born...one of the most famous people in history. We passed on by...not a word about him, the house history...nothing! The one thing we learned was that the Citadelle was 500 years old and opened to the public only recently. All of the above we could have done ourselves. The really bad thing is that after 1.5 hours and after the Citadelle the "guide" told us that there was really nothing else to see! By mutual agreement, we cut our 3-hour tour/walkabout short. When I went to claim off Viator she completely changed the story. She said that we cut the tour short! This is NOT correct. Why did she advertise and take a 3-hour booking (she actually advertises a 4-hour tour/walkabout) when she herself clearly said there was not enough to fill a 3-hour tour? This is not honest. Later; She also advised us, in the tourist office, to go and travel to an area she suggested. The tourist lady asked her "Why are you sending your guests to this area. There is nothing there, just a forest".

5.00This visit is very interesting because it is a bit of an à la carte request. The history of the City of Ajaccio is very interesting but we also follow in the footsteps of historical figures who lived in Ajaccio such as Napoleon and Pozzo di Borgo where each fought for a power which will lead them both on the paths of Great History, one pursuing his destiny, the other Corsican pursuing Napoleon all his life guided by a fierce hatred throughout his life.

5.00Took walking tour with Nicolette. She contacted us before the tour and discussed what we would do and see. I told her I wanted to get to beach after and she knew exactly how to get there by boat for only 8 euros round trip. Cruise ship said 30 for taxi
