A great experience. Impressed by how many languages the captain knew. Good talk about the history of Akaroa. Dolphins were beautiful. Plus the penguins.

An excellent trip. Friendly and helpful crew. The captain gave interesting facts about the history of Akaroa and the boat itself. We saw plenty of beautiful dolphins and bird/wildlife. A highlight was sailing into Cathedral Cove with an opportunity to be close to amazing rock formations. Definitely recommend the tour.

A fantastic trip. Beautiful scenery, a bit of history. Sail boats are definitely the best way to see Akaroa harbour with its dolphins, seals and other wildlife.

It was an awesome sailing trip with a lot of hector dolphins, seals, birdlife, beautiful sceneries and stories and legends about the regions past! You could definitely feel the captains live for what he‘s doing. Recommend 10/10, although I missed the cookies to the hot chocolate. ;-)

We were lucky to see a large number of dolphins, who enjoy surfing the bow wave of the ketch. The harbour is very scenic as well.

Wonderful trip on the Fox II! Crew was great and it was amazing to sail on the oldest Ketch in New Zealand. Saw lots of wildlife, including many pods of dolphins. Highly recommended!

This sailing tour was every bit as wonderful as we remembered it from 9 years ago. The boat is such a treat to be able to sail on. The crew is very competent and a delight to talk with. The Hector dolphins always come to the boat and this trip we were lucky to have a little blue penguin swimming beside us. An absolute must do experience in Akaroa.

Bring warm clothing since it can be chilly, especially out past the harbour entrance. Sunblock needed as well.
