This 2 days 1 night program in Chiang Rai is dedicated to people seeking tranquility and a unique experience in contact with locals, the people of the Akha hill-tribe.

Join us to live a unique experience closer to Thai life, in a village in the jungle still preserved from mass tourism. The authenticity, the welcome and the smile of the inhabitants will transport you in the deep and True Thailand.

You will discover their way of life, their customs, there would be the opportunity to make some easy hike in the very pretty mountains around their village.

You will be in total Immersion for 2 days in our little village haka, and for nothing if discover their way of life, and discover and then you try technical astral dance fishing, Agriculture, and learn Akha culture

What To Expect

Day 1 Commence your adventure with a hotel pickup in Chiang Rai between 8:30-9:00am. Embark on a 2-3 hour trek through the lush jungle, guided by an enthusiastic expert who will enlighten you about the local flora and herbs. Enjoy a refreshing break and take a dip near the waterfalls. Savor a bamboo-cooked lunch. Proceed with a 1 to 2-hour trek to the Lahu tribe village, immersing yourself in their mountain way of life. Finally, return to the Akha village for a cozy dinner and an overnight stay. Day 2 Start the day with a hearty breakfast in the village, followed by an immersive experience in mountain life. Engage in a fishing activity with the Akha villagers and cook the fish you catch. Relish a bamboo-cooked lunch and continue with a 1 to 2-hour trek. Conclude your journey with a scenic drive from the Akha village back to Chiang Rai.

Really great introduction to a way of life with the Akha hill tribe. I really had no idea bamboo has such strength and versatility. The hike through the countryside was beautiful, educational, and challenging. Be careful what you put in your backpack being mindful that you need to carry it about 15km . Food was plentiful and good.
