Vardzia

It is a cave monastery site in southern Georgia. The main period of construction was the second half of the twelfth century. Now part of a state heritage reserve, the extended area of Vardzia-Khertvisi has been submitted for future inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Rabati Castle

Originally established in the 9th century as the Lomisa Castle. Most of the surviving buildings date from the 17th and 18th centuries. In May 2011, the reconstruction of the Rabati fortress began, which was accompanied by the restoration and completion of many buildings that were destroyed in time immemorial.

Borjomi

Borjomi is the picturesque resort town in south-central Georgia. The town is famous for its mineral water, which is the number one export of Georgia; the Romanov summer palace and the World Wide Fund for nature-site Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park. Borjomi is also home to the most extensive ecologically themed amusement park in the Caucasus.
