The instructor will rendezvous with you at your chosen time and location, where a car will be waiting to kick off the adventure. Midway through the journey to the Albanian Alps and Theth, make a brief stop in Shkodra for a coffee break.

5.00Daniel our guide was impressive. The hike it's self is not easy but worth it! Unfortunately rained a bit so the "trail" was slippery. Not for someone looking for a casual stroll or has knee/foot problems. Dress accordingly! (Hikers or runners for sure, athletic pants, layers)

5.00This tour was amazing. I did this in autumn time and I have to say this was truly breathtaking. Yes it's a little far and yes it's more expensive than the other tours, but this was easily the best experience I had in Albania. I would highly recommend this especially if you have a clear day the views are truly out of this world

4.00This was such an impressive experience! The hike through the Albanian Alps was absolutely beautiful, and the swim in the Blue Eye was unforgettable – the water is only 5°C, icy cold but incredibly refreshing after the climb. Our guide Daniel and the driver were truly excellent – knowledgeable, professional, and very kind. Unfortunately, our bus broke down on the way back. These things can happen, but it took quite a while before replacement transport arrived. Daniel really proved to be a pro in handling the situation calmly and keeping everyone informed. Tips for future travelers: • Wear proper shoes – this hike is definitely not for flip-flops. • Bring enough drinking water for the climb. All in all, a wonderful adventure worth recommending!

5.00This was an AMAZING tour! Our guide, Daniel, was the BEST! He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information! It included a hike to the Blue Eye and, sadly, I did not have the stamina to make it all the way there. Daniel sent me pictures of it and they will be going on my wall! The drive to the trail head and the village of Theth were phenomenal! The absolute beauty took my breath away and completely stole my heart! I would very highly recommend this tour! THANK YOU, DANIEL, for making this an amazing experience and for being so wonderful! Your kindness will not be forgotten and is so very much appreciated!

5.00This was a fantastic day trip from Tirana. Our guide, Mentor, was terrific, providing insightful background about the country and the sites we were seeing. He stopped along the journey for scenic lookouts, guided us on the hike to the beautiful Blue Eye waterfall, and took us to historic places in the area. Plus he navigated the mountain roads like a champ. You can cover a lot of ground on this excursion and literally immerse yourself in the northern part of the country (including a dip in the water at the Blue Eye). I highly recommend it!

5.00We were really keen to visit the Albanian alps while in Tirana for 5 days , but couldn't decide on a when to fit it in. We booked this tour while in the city the morning before and i'm so glad we did. Our guide Nolan and his driver picked us up at 5.45, 30 seconds from our AirBnB and we had a full group of 19. There were frequent photo stops on the drive up before reaching the stunningly beautiful Theth village and heading up for the hike to the blue eye. I'm so glad we didn't attempt to drive this ourselves! The driver handled the mountain roads really well and we felt completely safe. Nolan speaks excellent English and gave us lots of info on Albanian culture and history on the drive up. On the hike, he encouraged people to work to their own abilities and stayed at the back of the group to ensure everyone was taken care of. A few pieces of information that are useful to know - the hike is moderate; not easy, not hard (in the summer months at least. I imagine it's on the easier end of the scale at other times if year). Decent shoes, trainers, or boots are recommended. The water is icy cold, it will take your breath away! The day will last some 15 hours from Tirana in a large group; we returned c.9pm. Useful to have some snacks or breakfast with you due to the early start & to fuel the hike before lunch. And finally, the landscape is stunningly beautiful. A great day with a diverse and interesting group and a great energetic guide: its great value and a wonderful day.

5.00So glad I did this tour! It was such a fun day, packed with beautiful scenery and visiting the Blue Eye was well worth the hike. Nolan and our driver were super helpful, even from before we got on the bus and really went above and beyond. Would recommend!!
