This tour includes:
Assigned By Us: Muir Wood Van departure time (70+ minute)
Assigned By Us: Alcatraz Island Admission Time Slot (2.5+ hours)
Golden Gate Bridge stop (10+ minutes)
We will assign your between 7am-4pm in peak times. Guests will be returned to San Francisco by van or included ferry on select dates.
VIP James Woods Road Trip Upgrade: Muir Woods Express plus bonus time in Sausalito with brunch credit. Guests will be returned to Wharf by van or ferry. Some dates will start by Sausalito Ferry then Muir Woods/ Golden Gate.
Early Bird: Get there before the crowds do! Enjoy nature as it was intended to be! We are often the first tour group to arrive! Silence is golden! Enjoy the park and relish in the experience as we leave seeing the endless busses arrive to the park. You will thank us!

Golden Gate Bridge Photo Stop (Sf Side) Ample time for photos!
Children age 7 and under without proper car seats not permitted by law
Days events may be arranged in any order that we may deem necessary
This is a non private tour with various guests of max 40 people
No transportation to/from hotels to Pier 33 or Express Van departure point or Pier 39
Infants 4 and under free at Alcatraz but fee applies for Express seat portion
Van does not provide car seats or booster seats (required for age 7 and under)
We will assign order of events (Express before Alcatraz or Express after Alcatraz)
Guests do not assume that they are early or late in the day. It is assigned!
We do not pick up guests at their own hotel. They will be told us how to find us!
Hotel Pick Up and Drop Off not available. Tours end in Fisherman's Wharf.

Alcatraz Island
Same day Alcatraz Admission Inside Prison with audio tour included. Guests should allow 2.5 hours for this experience. Guests will be assigned to a time by our company and will not be changed. Guests are not required to take van tour if they wish only to experience Alcatraz portion.
Muir Woods National Monument
Guests will experience the tall trees in a 70 minute self guided walking experience. $15 admission is not included.

5.00Muir Woods was breathtaking! We couldn’t get over the size of the trees. It was so peaceful as we walked around. Our driver James was really knowledgable and gave us a great guided tour as he drive us from one place to the other. Brunch at The Golden Gate Bridge was lovely. We were then safely dropped off to board the ferry to Alcatraz! What a place that was.

5.00James was a fantastic tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and very nice! The early Muir Woods entry is unbeatable. What a beautiful place to spend our morning. I also liked that he had a TV in the tour bus to show us some of the history of San Francisco. The cafe’s food wasn’t that good but the Golden Gate Bridge was just breathtaking to see and walk on. James dropped us off right in front of the Alcatraz entry so it was super easy to get to the line.

5.00This is the smartest tour you could book if you visit SF and especially if you are limited on time. Muir Woods and Alcatraz in one day? You don't have to drive? Your tickets for Alcatraz are purchased for you? YES! YES! and YES! It worked out so perfectly! James was a great driver, punctual and very personable. You will thank him for getting you to Muir Woods first. Why you may ask? Because the park is basically all to yourself. It's quiet and beautiful as intended. Before the bus loads of tourists get there to spoil the splendor. Alcatraz was amazing too, you are dropped off to the ferry pick-up and go at your own pace. Highly recommended!

1.00At no fault to the tour, my experience never happened due to unforeseen circumstances with my travel. I tried to call and adjust my tour, but no one answered to confirm or even refuse. I’m deeply disappointed and insulted that they were happy to take my money, and didn’t even attempt to reassure me or respect my situation.

3.00Frankly, it was like the sales trips. Very early we had to be at the pick-up point (7am) to make a stop at the Golden Gate. Everything was in the fog in the morning. Continue to Muir Woods. Just been driven there and let out. At 8.30 a.m. a bit crass. Not even the Cafe/Shopping store was up. After 1 1/2 laps - good for the weather nobody can get anything (rain) - and we continued to Sausalitos Been let out here outside a restaurant with a voucher and the ferry ticket. Forced food. We had to spend 2 hours in Sausalitos before the ferry went back. That was the lead..... Arrived in San Francisco independently to Pier 33 where we went to Alcatraz. At 2:30 in the afternoon. It was so crowded as this is exactly the peak time. No one seen by the group or driver. Alcatraz with audio (language selectable). But got everyone who has a ticket. Back also queued again miserably long. The ferry should run every half hour. Which she didn't. Maybe every 45 minutes, if not longer. The ferries coming from San Francisco were much emptier as of 4 p.m.
