Discover the Royal Alcazar of Seville, declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. You will be amazed by its magnificience and magniture.
You will also recognize some spots, because of the shooting of the famous series “Game of Thrones”.
The origin of the Real Alcazar of Seville dates from the time of the High Middle Ages, although some areas of Islamic art that impress with its delicacy are preserved. In any case, Mudejar art and Gothic style predominate, but Renaissance and Baroque elements were added later.
Over the centuries, it has been the residence of the members of the Spanish Royal Family in Seville. Even today, it remains for the exclusive use of royalty, except for tourist visits.
This complex includes many wonderful features. The quaintest is the Patio de las Doncellas, with its ponds that reflect the intricate mudéjar plasterwork for which this palace is known for.

It was a beautiful experience on a mild day( would have been more difficult to enjoy on a hot day)- our guide Karlo was exceptional & covered history & architecture of all key elements.

Initially couldn’t find the office to Meet the guide. Apparently it had changed its name. There was then a wait until we started the tour with the guide. She was a very good guide and it was a beautiful building and gardens and worth the visit.

The tour was delayed half an hour but that was good as we had forgotten to bring our passports and it gave us time to fetch them. Everything was very laid back and a bit muddled to begin with but our young guide, Mince , soon sorted everything out. Her tour was good and informative. We also enjoyed the garden afterwards.

We did the visit with Alba R. Very pleasant and enjoyable visit. Alba knows a lot and conveys it perfectly. Adapting to the audience in the group. Highly recommended.

We met at the tourist office and it immediately became apparent the type of tour it was going to be. Our guide arrived with minutes to spare and presented as quite chaotic. On starting the tour, one of our listening devices ran out battery- a simple check before hand would have prevented this. We arrived at the location to stand in a queue- it was advertised as ‘skip the queue’. Alcazar was beautiful but our guide kept having to correct himself- I am sure it was not because he did not know the information but because the tour appeared rushed. The place deserved better as we did! The tour lasted no more than an hour. To end on a positive note, the shop sold lovely items.

Guided tour in English (it was complete for the French version) with Alvaro. Very nice visit, competent guide who knows how to involve us. He speaks good English, articulates well and speaks slowly enough, ideal for a non-English speaker.
