Discover the Royal Alcazar of Seville, declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. You will be amazed by its magnificience and magniture.
You will also recognize some spots, because of the shooting of the famous series “Game of Thrones”.
The origin of the Real Alcazar of Seville dates from the time of the High Middle Ages, although some areas of Islamic art that impress with its delicacy are preserved. In any case, Mudejar art and Gothic style predominate, but Renaissance and Baroque elements were added later.
Over the centuries, it has been the residence of the members of the Spanish Royal Family in Seville. Even today, it remains for the exclusive use of royalty, except for tourist visits.
This complex includes many wonderful features. The quaintest is the Patio de las Doncellas, with its ponds that reflect the intricate mudéjar plasterwork for which this palace is known for.

My guide Ismael was so fun and interesting, he made the visit even more enjoyable. Very knowledgeable about the Alcazar and it's history!

It is not worth the money or time. Extremely inefficient. Guide could not find tickets at the gate. We ended up waiting 30 minutes until she found them. We also started late from their office which is a 10 minute walk from Palace. The tour itself is poor. It focused on architecture of obscure rooms.

This tour was good but felt very rushed. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable but it felt like we were running through the palace. Unfortunately, the gardens were closed during our visit so I’m not sure how that would have changed the experience.

There needs to be more information given to help meet the tour guide. It was very stressful since we did not know what we were looking for especially in a foreign country where you not know streets and restaurants which could be the meeting place.
