Discover the Royal Alcazar of Seville, declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. You will be amazed by its magnificience and magniture.
You will also recognize some spots, because of the shooting of the famous series “Game of Thrones”.
The origin of the Real Alcazar of Seville dates from the time of the High Middle Ages, although some areas of Islamic art that impress with its delicacy are preserved. In any case, Mudejar art and Gothic style predominate, but Renaissance and Baroque elements were added later.
Over the centuries, it has been the residence of the members of the Spanish Royal Family in Seville. Even today, it remains for the exclusive use of royalty, except for tourist visits.
This complex includes many wonderful features. The quaintest is the Patio de las Doncellas, with its ponds that reflect the intricate mudéjar plasterwork for which this palace is known for.

Rebecca was a knowledgeable and lively tour guide, She made the tour fun and interesting . The Alcazar is worth a visit for the history and the Moorish architecture and design I thoroughly enjoyed the visit

Hard to understand our guide. Started late. Would have been more interesting if the guide spoke better English

‘My experience with Naturanda/Viator today ( 19th May on 13:30 tour with Julio) was shambolic, to be polite. The guide arrived 10 minutes late and then spent time on the phone sorting something out. We then had problems with the listening equipment, which was resolved, and we then left for the Alcazar. This was followed by problems at the entrance because Naturanda/Viator had not emailed Julio everybody’s tickets, which needed to be cross-checked at security before being allowed entrance. We eventually got in at 14:16 (I know this because I messaged my family) and the tour then finished pretty much on time at 15:00. So a one and half hour tour was actually only 45 minutes! The guide did apologise for the inefficiency of Naturanda but he did arrive late himself. Very disappointing and worst tour experience with Viator and I have used them a lot! I think Viator should do the right thing and offer a partial refund for the shortened tour or at least free vouchers for another tour, wherever or whenever we would like to use it (ie. not in Seville). Need to do much, much better. ‘
