What To Expect
The Alhambra
This is a complete visit to the Alhambra (tickets included): for about 2.5-3 hours we will show you what is considered by many as the most impressive monument in Spain. We will start by visiting the Generalife, an area of beautiful gardens and orchards where the Sultan had a palace that was used for personal enjoyment. After the Generalife, we will go to see the Palace of Charles V, a Christian palace in the heart of the Alhambra that will not leave you indifferent. In the Alcazaba, the defensive-military zone, we will be lucky enough to enjoy what are probably the best views of the city, and finally, we will visit the Nasrid palaces, the center of political and bureaucratic administration of the kingdom of Granada.
Generalife
Personal and private place of the Sultan for recreation, leisure, religion... also with agricultural functions, its beautiful gardens are one of the favorite places of the visitor.

5.00Matias was an amazing tour guide. He went above and beyond with historical information, a worldly knowledge about design and aesthetics. He was fun and informative. If we ever should come back to the Alhambra, we will request to have him as a guide. We recommend him without any reservations.

Having Matias explain the history (it was interesting to hear how things changed and were used for different purposes over the centuries) made it so much more enjoyable and fascinating for us. 5.00Matias was dynamite! Our experience on the extensive tour benefited from his deep familiarity with Alhambra’s history, and with the ruins, restoration, and local community. He adapted the tour to our specific interests as well. And bonus - as we finished he gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions, which enhanced the rest of our time in Granada. 5.00This was a private tour of Alhambra which included Generalife Gardens, Alhambra, & Alcazaba. All admissions were paid for and tickets had been obtained by the guide before the tour.Communication prior to the tour was good. Our guide, Marcos, was terrific. As this was a private tour, we weren't rushed, he answered all questions, he was personable and interesting and had an extensive fund of knowledge about Alhambra. We would highly recommend having Marcos as your guide!

5.00The property is truly one-of-a-kind, and if you care about understanding the history of what you're seeing, the only way to experience it to the fullest is via a private tour. My sister and I were very fortunate to have Jennifer as our very knowledgeable and personable guide and she was so great to spend the afternoon with. Having her wealth of valuable knowledge, information, and insights all to ourselves for several hours really enriched our experience and made this extraordinary property come to life.
