Excellent tour of Alicante with wife and friends from the ship. So glad we had a ride to the Santa Barbara Castle. What great views. Even during the walk down, the views were spectacular. Spotted the area bull fighting arena on the way down. Santa Cruz was a beautiful area to walk through, and looking back up at the castle was cool. Little restaurant at the end was excellent, we even stayed for more Tapas and beer/Sangria

Tour guide Francisco was outstanding. This excursion however was strenuous and should be classified as such. But we really enjoyed it. Well done!!!

The tour was quite interesting. We loved the market, which was amazing, and enjoyed the views from the castle (fortress). The walk through the other parts of Alicante were an eye opener. The tapas tasting was very disappointing.

A great experience with Isaac who told us lots of information about Alicante and its history! We loved every part of it and visited places we have never been to before. The tapas and drinks were an added bonus!

This tour was a bit misleading. It’s definitely NOT “a wander” - it’s a significant amount of walking, thankfully all downhill, but quite steep and a bit slippery at times. Also not much shade so it’s bit uncomfortable. The “nibbles” you get in the market are minimal. The tapas at the end is one small item and a drink. I enjoyed seeing the Santa Cruz neighborhood, but do wish i knew what i had signed up for! I might have dressed or prepared differently for example!
