  My son (16) and I had a great day's adventure with Yiannis, a friendly, professional Land Rover driver, who doesn't mix his clients together. We experienced Lefkada in a way that regular tourist's can't. Glorious views over the Ionian Islands, remote churches, deep dark oak forests, mountain villages and beautiful beaches. A delicious Lefkadan lunch with wine, and fresh mountain spring waters. Thankyou Yiannis for an amazing day.

  The 4x4 off road experience was one of the absolute highlights of our holiday. We had a fantastic day out guided by, and driven by, the fabulous Yannis. We were picked up at our accommodation and from start to finish Yannis was courteous, informative, attentive and entertaining. He drove us up into the mountain woods along tracks inaccessible by car to have amazing views across the island. We then drove to the south of the island stopping at beaches and driving through beautiful tracks with breathtaking views. Lunch, which we ate on a beautiful woodland area with a natural spring, was provided by Yannis and consisted of local delicacies prepared by him and his family. He took time to explain the progeny of all the different parts of the meal and also provided local wine for us. Following a beach stop for a swim at the very south of the island we then drove up the west coast and back up into the mountains again stopping at some fabulous viewpoints. Yannis continually took photos for us which he shared at the end of the day via WhatsApp. We went to the very highest points of the island, visited hilltop villages, monasteries and churches and all the time were given fascinating insights into Lefkadan geology, history and culture. Yannis was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and picked us wild herbs and berries. We saw so much it is impossible to detail it all.   Such a great way to see the bits of Lefkada most people won't, Yannis was a very knowledgeable and experienced guide who clearly loves what he does. He obviously knows the island inside out along with some local history and plant/wildlife knowledge, we drove up into the mountains along tracks that didn't even look like tracks! If you are expecting luxury then this is not the trip for you, the vehicle is designed to do its job which it does really well and I felt this added to the adventure. We visited the highest point on the island and its church balanced of the edge of the world, we had an amazing locally produced lunch by the side of a fresh water stream, just us, not on the tourist trail at all, we went to the lentil fields and red desert, we stopped and picked oregano, sage and thyme to take home, we saw the buzzards/hawks soaring above the mountains, we had several swim stops at tiny deserted coves no one else could get to. it was a full on day where nothing was too much trouble for Yannis, he even offered assist us with anything else we might need for our holiday once our day out was over and gave us a gift of home made saffron liqueur as a souvenir. the two teenage boys loved the day as much as I did, great experience!!!

  Having read the reviews already posted, expectations of this trip were high, and it still managed to exceed expectations. We were taken to places you could never hope to find without an experienced local guide, saw views that have to be see to be believed and were fed some delicious local food. The beach we went to was stunning and so much better with there being nothing else there. Yannis was very knowledgeable and clearly pationate about his island. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you.

  What a great experience this was! We went out all day and had a great day. The Landrover tears through everything with ease. This experience was literally a highlight of our holiday. Jiannis is very friendly and a great guy who knows a lot about the island, he has taken care of us very well including with a delicious homemade lunch. His wife had made a delicious dessert and we ate this in a beautiful cool place with fresh clean spring water from the mountain available. Despite it being above 40 degrees, it was fine to do in the land rover. He bought us a nice freddo and bottles of water on the way. We didn't want for anything. We stopped twice at a beautiful beach to swim so we could cool off. And high in the mountains it was also a bit more pleasant in terms of temperature. It was a really great day. He takes pictures and videos of the ride and of his guests all day long so that you have the day on camera as a nice memory anyway. • The best day in Lefkada

  What an amazing day. Yannis picked us up from our hotel, and we toured the island, with views to 'die for' everywhere. The off-road sections were exhilarating. We stopped in a pretty shaded area for the most delicious home made Greek Lunch, swam on a secluded beach and climbed to the Profiti Ellias Church with views of both sides of Lefkada. We drove through Oak forests and mountain villages. It was a full 10 hour trip, and is great value for money. If you want a trip to see the real Lefkada, this is the one. Yannis is knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly an expert 4x4 driver. I completely recommend this trip.

  This tour is amazing! Yannis took us via the hills (off the road) to a beautiful viewing point (665 m) after that he showed a lot of beautiful beaches (for swimstops) Some a the beaches are only possible to visit with a 4x4 jeep and professional driver He really showed us the whole island during this 10,5 hrs jeeptour During the day he offered us coffee/icetea, water bottles and during the day a lovely selfmade (by his wife) lunch on a nice spot. Yannis is a real adventurer and knows a lot about the island and nature. He is a perfect driver, host and really takes care of his guests. You can customize the trip with yannis if you prefer more of the road routes. So a big thank you for making this day so special during our holiday.   We simply had an outstanding time with Yannis...we are a family of 4 who travelled Europe for 9 weeks with our Landrover Defender 110. Through our travels we realised that the best way to get to know a country, its culture and its people is to go off-roading...where guides tend to take us to stunning remote places, pass on knowledge, culture & love of their country with the mind of being aware of surroundings, landscape and sustainable tourism. Yannis exceeded our expectations on every aspects...his knowledge, his care for his country and nature is resourceful and honest, the places we went through off-roading tracks were beyond words...Yannis knowledge & skills on off-roading was re assuring as we had a heavy load on the roof. The remote swimming at magical little beaches for the kids (and parents!) to cool off were stunning... Yannis was dedicated to us, making sure we had the best time, and provided a delicious fully homemade 3 courses meal (with wine! drunk with moderation as driving!). Truly a magical day on all aspects, off-roading challenges, picturesque views, and camaraderie atmosphere...   I went on this amazing adventure on the last day of my holiday. Yannis was the perfect host, very knowledgeable and passionate about his island and made this a day to remember. Lunch was a unique experience, with delicious food and produce lovingly prepared and grown by him and his family.
